jeremytoni (560), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Nov 11, 2007 From a bottle poured amber with a fair amount of head. Not very strong taste of anything with a quick aftertaste.
BREWMUSKCLES (754), WEEHAWKEN, New Jersey, USA Aug 3, 2008 aroma of straw. flavor is of a fruit... a plum or better a plucot. additional flavors that are nicely sweet. caramel straw in a refreshing concoct that has an adequate yet recessed hop presence, mainly floral and of pine. nothing short of pleasant this beer is a discriminating beer drinkers session brew. good amber color that is deep and dark. slightly off balance, that character here is intruiging as i see it. Mad_Indian (797), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 21, 2008 Gift from neighbor, copper pour mild malt aroma, thin in taste yada yada yada. It was un inspiring. HighlanderOne (454), Somewherein, New Jersey, USA Mar 22, 2008 Poured from bottle 3/2008. Hop aroma greets you. Dark mahogany, thin tan head. Interesting blend of hop and roasted malt in the flavor. Creamy texture, slightly burnt something in the aftertaste, Finished nicely too. Surprisingly good. JMFG (1117), Florida, USA Mar 18, 2008 Bottle from trade with zathrus, I think. Slightly cloudy amber, very little head. Mildly sweet grains, some caramel malt. A slight sourness is present. Taste has mostly some biscuity malts over a light hop character. Kind of muddy, and there’s some other issues here. Goodgrief (1018), Middletown, Delaware, USA Mar 10, 2008 July 2007 - Pour was pale amber with nice head and ok lacing. Aroma of floral hops. Flavor was caramel, a touch of diacetyl and a mild citrus aftertaste. Watery flavor and mouthfeel. Eh
