Nice brownish color, slight head quickly dissipated. Mildly fruity and somewhat Englishy. Very drinkable. I’m not sure who is making this these days. Poor Henry’s had been making it for Dock Street, but PH is long gone, but I’ve seen these Dock St bottles return to the shelves. *Somebody* is bottling for DS now, don’t know who.

Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Sweet crystal malt in both the aroma and flavor, with a hint of hops coming through to save a rather bland and boring beer.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 EithCubes (3340) - GERMANY - DEC 26, 2008
Bottle. Nice crystal malt drenched nose with a hint of caramel and perhaps Vienna? Citrus hop with a floral note. Faint toasted nuts and berry. Amber pout with a beige head. Taste is a firm, hard bitterness with hoppy notes reminiscent of too many Skittles, crystal and caramel with a little earth. Subtle grape and toffee. Light body but not watery. The Skittles slime is difficult to bear, but this is still an above average amber.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ROGUE (1360) - Newark, Delaware, USA - DEC 26, 2008
12oz botttle. Poured a deep amber color with a wispy head that did not stick around long. Caramel and biscuit malt and pine hops in the nose. The palate begins with some bitterness with some sweet malt in the center. Pine, citrus hops at the end with a slightly bitter finish.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 abcfan (413) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 15, 2008
Decent beer. Pours copper with thin white head. Mild caramel malt aroma. Taste is all over the place, fruity, yet malty, with a slight hoppiness. Not much carbonation on tongue, rather creamy for the style. Finish has a taste of mild soap. Would drink again, but wouldn’t seek out.

aroma of straw. flavor is of a fruit... a plum or better a plucot. additional flavors that are nicely sweet. caramel straw in a refreshing concoct that has an adequate yet recessed hop presence, mainly floral and of pine. nothing short of pleasant this beer is a discriminating beer drinkers session brew. good amber color that is deep and dark. slightly off balance, that character here is intruiging as i see it.
