06MAR2011, on tap at my house. Pilsner is my overall favorite beer style, Dock Street my go to Pilsner. Victory Prima Pils is excellent, but overwhelms my taste buds after three drafts. DSBP has great drinkability, and is a good session beer.

Clear straw yellow color with surprisingly good lacing. Aroma of sweet malt and bread. Honey flavor with bread and a quick bitter hop ending. Decent beer for the style.

Bottle. Pours gold with a fluffy white head. Spicy hop aroma, with some grain/straw like malt notes. The flavor is more of the same, but a bit on the bland side. Definitely drinkable.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ROGUE (1360) - Newark, Delaware, USA - DEC 26, 2008
12oz bottle. Pours a clear copperish color with an steady off-white head. The head retention is decent and leaves nice lacing along the glass. The aroma was mostly clean light malt, hint of honey. The taste is great with mostly biscuity flavor and a hint of honey and just a hint of hops. Very crisp and smooth.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 EithCubes (3340) - GERMANY - JUL 30, 2008
Bottled as Royal Bohemian. Honey-dipped, golden, sweetly malty nose. Noisy fizzy beige head on a yellow-golden body. Dry, lightly bitter taste, a whiff of hops with a touch of chalk, some green tea and another herbal notes. Fizzy medium body, a touch of grainy husk. Big-time disappointment.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Goodgrief (1656) - Middletown, Delaware, USA - FEB 23, 2008
May 2007 - Beer pours straw yellow with smallish head and lacing. Aroma is of light pilsner-type malts. The flavor is kind of bland, no grassiness or hay-like flavors typically found in pilsner...just completely lacking anything of character. It’s completely non-offensive, so that’s good. Easy drinking.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Nate (3093) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 14, 2007
Bottled. Fairly sweet nose, with white grape juice notes, light biscuit and subdued maltiness. Mild fruity hops, but very weak. Dull golden clear body with thin, rapidly dissipating white head. Medium watery body with light-medium carbonation. Starts with mild beany acidity, pilsner malty flavor that reminds me of a European pilsner from a can. Light vegetable, barely detectable. Medium hop finish, with limited bitterness. Rounded sweet smooth finish and beany after. Not a bad quaff.
2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 LinusStick (2444) - Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 19, 2007
A rather boring pilsener. Pour was a straw gold with no head. Aroma of a bit of hops and stickiness. Taste was like a wet pilsener with a bit of hop bite, but the malt drowned it out.
