mjfava (2), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA does not count Oct 30, 2005 great anytime beer... goes down easy with an exceptionally smooth and clean finish great with food can8ianben (668), Pasadena, California, USA Aug 19, 2008 On tap at the brewery as Royal Bohemian Pilsner. I was completely surprised by the hoppy bitterness found here. This is a pilsner you could really sink your teeth into. Lots of full body, refreshing and crisp, and nicely bitter. Color is golden, aroma of lemon and spice, flavor is sweet melon, subtle spice, and a smooth bitter finish. dmtroyer (378), Harrisonburg, Virginia, USA Aug 20, 2008 This was one of my favorites on tap recently at Dock Street in Philly. A very deceptive brew, it poured quintessential pilsener with a golden body and white head. Flavor profile is eye-opening, ripping exotic fruit and spice with a dry hoppy finish. I’m guessing they have refined the recipe at Dock Street since this beer was entered because it is way underrated. fuchebu (144), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 11, 2002 This is a good effort but not as good as a classic pilsner. It’s been better in the past. thehinge (227), Wilmington, Delaware, USA Aug 8, 2004 Nice pilsner.....about what I would expect from the class. Aroma is a might skunky....but the hints of citrus in the taste makes up for it. I would certainly recommend it. I generally have liked any Dock Street offering.
