Blackish color with a tan head. Aroma is sweet and malty with some dark chocolate and coffee in the nose. Flavor has a big, sweet oatmeal/chocolate/licorice taste with some creaminess in there. Good, but tasted a bit like the satellite stout without the coffee and it was a bit of a letdown. Pretty good overall.

the body is opaque and almost black with just a bit of brown head. It has aroma of chocolate and coffee. The flavor has tons of burnt caramel and chocolate.

Draft at Dock Street: pour is pitch black with a thick tan head, some coffee and chocolate aroma, flavor was some coffee and dark chocolate, it was smooth tasting but not much thickness to the mouthfeel and I usually prefer that out of an outmeal stout. Solid brew nonetheless.

Poured opaque black, with a medium sized, tan head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, licorice, and vanilla cream. Taste of chocolate, smoke, anise, oats, roasted malts, and figs, with a bit of alcohol in the finish. Creamy mouthfeel.
