4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Gusler (2654) - Tucson, USA - AUG 29, 2000
I really like this IPA, Hoppy to the max, good malts and a strong flavor that stands up.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Drinkingdan (371) - East Norriton, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 13, 2003
A different kind of IPA. Not bad just different. I expected more hops.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Aurelius (3146) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 17, 2002
Molasses in the nose, not very hoppy, though I liked the hops. Woody and moderately dry. Nondescript orange ale, with tangy malt.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 quiksilverxtc99 (99) - USA - FEB 20, 2002
average beer, disappointing for a dock street offering. try their sampler pack, its worth it. good brewery. more malty than hoppy balance.
3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 carlitos99 (184) - The Big Apple, USA - JAN 23, 2002
I thought this beer was decent. It has an amber color and a slightly bitter finish. OK in my book.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 TAR (2236) - Lafayette, Colorado, USA - JAN 11, 2002
Malt dominates aroma with hop rind barely seeing its way through. Could have had more hops for balance. A take-on of ’Bass?!’ UUUGGGHHH
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 aledrinkerLS (101) - New Brunswick, USA - DEC 3, 2001
Not hoppy enough for an IPA. I got this fresh considering I m not far from the brewery and I was somewhat disappointed. Overrated brewery just like Stoudts.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Bov (7364) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - OCT 2, 2000
amber colour, great hop aroma, impressive bitterness, slightly spicy
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 PhillyBeer2112 (2361) - Oviedo, Florida, USA - AUG 22, 2000
So far, this is the best beer I’ve
sampled from Dock St. However, I’d hardly
call this an IPA. Its more of a cross between
a brown ale and a pale. It has a moderate
hoppiness combined with a rich, nutty, and
tofeeish maltiness. This is really wonderful
and entertaining to drink (maybe a little too rich).
