Tap at Opening Tap PBW10. Pours a deeper amber with a medium creamy off white head. Aroma of caramel, rye bread, floral and citrus hops. Nice rye bread flavor, caramel and toasted malt along with the floral and citrus hops.

Tap at Headhouse. Pours a deep woody copper with a nice thin lasting white head- and some really good lace. Aroma is spicy rye malts, bready, toffee, slight burnt toast, mineral and grassy- big citrus malts- some grapefruit. Flavor is grapefruit, yeast, doughy malts, slight burnt toast, mineral and rye malts- a touch messy and hard to figure out when it is cold, but as it warms the flavors spread out a bit and it seems cleaner- nice fresh rye malts, earthy tones, and a nice grapefruity hoppy finish. Gets better as you drink more and more. Nice.

pours a deep amber/ruby color with a medium lt. tan head...pretty decent retention and lacing...lively looking. aroma has very earthy hops with a hint of spice and subtle malt backing...also a hint of alcohol...rye is subtley noticeable. flavor is very earthy, almost woody. hint of caramely sweetness that goes away quickly due to loads of earthy hops and rye. mouthfeel is crisp and lively with a long dry finish that is very hoppy with rye notes...slightly warming. pretty damn good dipa...great rye/hoppy dry finish! i also like that this one was overloaded with citrus.

A little hard to drink, had it off a firkin at TJ’s. Strong taste and smell of herbs and dough with a floral overtones. There was just too much going on for me.

[Beers on Broad] Amber color with a large off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus, caramel malts, rye bread, and some pine. Taste of bitter hops, pine citrus, rye, caramel, and a metallic hop finish.
