Bottle @ Ratman’s. Pours a fairly clear, dark orange appearance with little head. Somewhat spicy, light citrusy, somewhat herbal nose. A bit thin, strong, spicy yeasty, a bit boozy, strong malty flavor. Bleh.

From tap. Light floral aroma. Light golden appearance with little white head. Taste is floral with a sweet hit of malt and candi. It’s an okay beer for the price.

Draft at Capone’s. Pours out a cloudy golden color with little to no head. Aroma is of sweet fruity notes, earth, yeast, pepper, tea leaves and light spice. Taste is complex, fruity yeasty notes, citrus hops, earth, peppercorn, grain, grass, light honey and a slight burn of alcohol creeping up on you on the rather dry finish.

On tap at the Drafting Room, Exton. Mild Belgian yeast aroma. Some bitter hop oil/resin and grass. Light neutral fruity character. Medium amber cloudy with off-white creamy lacing head. Medium-heavy body with medium carbonation and alcohol warming. Starts medium sweet with alcohol, pilsner malt, and mild bitterness. Decent hop flavor, though more bitter than taste. Sweet finish with good bitterness. Belgian yeast notes and some light grain hop astringency. Nice ale.
