Reddish brown color with a small, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of raisins, spices, vanilla, brown sugar, and light alchol. Taste of dark fruits, vanilla, spices, candy sugar, and a dry finish.

Draft at Capone’s. Pours copper toward ruby with off-khaki head. Nose is earthy brown sugary malt, vinous fruit, hops. Tastes earthy, figgy fruity, with funky candi sugary malt notes, and a complex flavor.

Draught at TJ’s: Aroma of malt, roasting, toasting, cocoa, and spices. Poured deep amber/brown in color with a medium-sized, creamy, dense, tan head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Hazy. Slightly sparkling. Very good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malt, cocoa, candi sugar, light dark ripe fruit, and yeast. Medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Malt, yeast, coca finish is lightly dry.

On tap at Capone’s. Poured a deeper amberish/ruby/brown color with a small sized head. Lacing left on the glass. Aromas of chocolate, dark fruits, and spices. Tastes of chocolate, caramel, dar fruits, and some spices.
