Thanks to ericandersnavy for sharing this bottle. Bottle 106 of 180. Light amber pour with a white head. The aroma is full of oranges and lemons with some Belgian yeast and white pepper. The flavor is very similar. There is quite a bit of sweet malt, with some juicy orange notes. I also get some biscuit malt, yeast and pepper. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Sampled at the Funky 8 - Barcade, Brooklyn, NYC. Quite simply, this beer is just way too sweet. Lots of yeasty bread, some grains, spices, mild pale fruits. Quite full in body. Meh.

750 ml bottle to snifter (shared with dudeabide and the Mrs.). Bottle #31 of 180. Looks solid; a fairly transparent dark orange with foamy off-white head. Smells spicy, earthy, yeasty, and lightly hoppy. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

750 ml bottle shared with Scott. Bottle 82/180. Pours a golden honey color with a large creamy white head. Aroma of honeysucle, apricots, cloves light banana, papaya, hints if pineapple, candied sugar and Belgian yeast. Taste is much the same as the aroma. Strong in alcohol but doesnt show.

bu11zeye (11760) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUN 17, 2012
(750ml bottle, #106/180, courtesy of ericandersnavy) Pours a clear golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of grass, pineapple, herbs, artificial sweetener, burnt honey, mango. Flavor of herbs, honey, grass, alcohol, stone fruit, mango, very sugary, and earth with a cloying finish. Certainly not what I would consider a saison and unfortunately a sugary alcohol disappointment that met my drain.

TheEpeeist (3175) - Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 15, 2012
750 ml bottle. Murky brown with a beautiful whipped white head; garlands of lace. Nose is lemon zest, vanilla pudding and duck sauce; faintly sour and musty. Body is thick and doughy, tiny carb pricks then oily and clinging. Taste is honey, spoiled pineapple, cardamon and tomatillo with a dry yeasty finish. Strange flavors but interesting enough to be enjoyable.
