COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An easy drinking Brown Ale base sassed up with herbal flair. Wintergreen, Sarsaparilla, Licorice, Ginger, Star Anise, and Vanilla give this ale a root beer nose and flavor.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear maple brown with some beige haze. Nose is mild coffee and a touch of sarsaparilla. Medium light with moderate carb. Taste picks up the sarsaparilla and adds hints of mint, licorice and anise. Nice restrained spicing but i was hoping for something a little bolder.
