Clear golden color, small steady white head. Musty, hoppy aroma has even hints of farmhouse. Earthy, leafy hops in the flavor. Kind of unbalanced pils with harsh bitterness.

Draught sample at the brewpub. This is a slightly dark golden colour with a small trace of white foam. There is subtle hops in the aroma with some grain. Mouthfeel is light. Flavour is not bad: more hops, some grass, grain, lemon.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 GeneralGao (3545) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - MAY 18, 2009
Draft at the brewpub. Poured a clear gold color with a thin white head. The aroma was subdued overall with slight whiffs of graham cracker, cereal grain, and grass. Light bodied and dry. Very watery with cardboard, hay, stale cereal, and green grass flavors. Eh.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 fiulijn (10407) - Como, ITALY - AUG 2, 2008
Draught at the brewpub Pale blond color, nice lace. The aroma is light, hoppy, a bit grassy. The mouthfeel is rather weak, compared tot the Ales of the house, with light straw and malt flavor and a quite strong bitterness, again with some problems: either too long hop infusion, or hop extracts. One notch above BMC.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 BlackDonald (1127) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 17, 2008
Pils is well done, nothing offensive, but quite typical, and on the lighter side. Has kind of an herbal sage like quality about it. Clean and crisp, but does not really have anything about it that stands out.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 CCCP (16) - , British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 1, 2008
I must have hit a good day - this pilsner was very drinkable with nary a diacetyl to be found. Not nearly the best pilsner around but certainly suitable for a session in the sun.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Sammy (6120) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 21, 2008
There was nothig special about this. It may have looked pilsnerish with light colour and good lace. No aroma. Drinkable but minimal taste. I guess less offensive than your bud.
