COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A classic London Porter, this rich dark ale has its’ roots in the early brewing history of England. The full bodied, medium hopped beer is a great partner for our Pub pies and meats.

Deep brown pour. The nose is slightly toasty and a little bit vegetal. Slightly roast with a definite baked nut type of aroma. Light pale malt with a little bit of light earthiness. It’s not a great porter at all - but I’m not sure what else you would call it. Astringent.

From notes: draught at Frog & Onion Pub in Bermuda. Poured black, with a small, thin tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, with some nuttiness mixed in. Medium-bodied, with a slight oilyness to the finish. Roasted malt flavor with some nutty notes mixed in. Perhaps light notes of coffee and smoke as well. Good, not great.

has a nice aroma of coffee and dark roasted malts. Overall very roasty and toasty with a semi-sweet malty aftertaste. Pretty good stuff here.

Bottle (and bottle condition by the look of it). Top stuff. Black. Hint of liquorish, hint of sweet raisin or something similar. Roasted, toasted and really very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours a bruin body with an off white head, and nice retention. Sweet and malty, a hint of cherry and ash character. Wood tones with a light mineral and mild bitterness. Okay.

Bottle: New country! Brown pour with an off white head. Lightly toasted aroma/mildly nutty. Light body with a similar flavor. Nutty and toasted. Not bad- has a macro feel.
