Pours amber with an aroma of wine and sweet malt. Flavor is roasted malt and very sweet candy. Palate is okay, but nothing spectacular. Not bad, actually.

This beer is very hoppy, so I would not recommend it for everybody. However, the hops blend perfectly with the body and flavor, creating a very refreshing beer. My favorite beers are IPAs, and I prefer this IPL over any IPA I’ve ever had.

Light orange color. Good strong hop character. Stays spicy throughout the glass.
