Very pretty beer...nice dark chocolate color with mocha head that has pretty good lacing. Overly roasted coffee aromas. Rich coffee and chocolate flavors with soft hop bitterness. I like.

Sampled this at The Dodging Duck Brewhaus in Boerne. Solid deep brown/amber color with a light brown head. No carbonation. Smells of coffee, light coacoa, and vanilla. "Like a cigar..." Very thin body for a stout, and then... the taste... "khothkaah!" Not what I was expecting. Like I said, light - yes, but taste was a little off. After finishing my own sample and going after my date’s I started to warm up to the burned flavor. Overall, not that impressive. Last time I sampled this it tasted super thin and watered down... this time was a little better.
