12 oz. bottle. Opaque rusty brown in colour with just a rim of head. It seems thick as it pours. Alcohol dominates the aroma, but the American hops cut their way through the ooze of alcohol. There is also a faint hint of malty sweetness. The taste begins very sweetly, and ends bitterly, with a (surprisingly tolerable) blanket of alcohol over everything. This beer doesn’t FEEL like a beer; it’s thick, syrupy, more like cough syrup or liqueur. This is definitely interesting, and I’m glad I tried it, but it’s not worth the $9 I paid for it.

Aug 31, 2008 Bottle. Pours an orange color with a faint white head. Leaves some lacing on the side of this glass. Aroma is hoppy and alcohol. Flavor is sweet, fruit, citrus, alcohol and grass. This beer warms you up as you drink it. Not as hoppy as I thought it would be but good never the less

Aug 30, 2008 Smells of alcohol and prunes. Cloudy orange with a white head and a bit of darker sediment that came out at the end. The taste is surprisingly smooth for the alcohol content, sweet and almost like a desert wine, not as hoppy as I thought. Thick mouth feel and hardly carbonated. Very unique but almost transcends the beer category.

Aug 29, 2008 06. Pour is murky and cloudy with not much head. Aromas of sweet malt, sugar, and alcohol. Flavor is a straight up MALT BOMB! All alcohol and malt. Down the drain this guy went.

Aug 27, 2008 This is one monster beer, pours to a cloudy amber body, smells of hops and strong liquor taste, has a small white head that dissipates quickly. From the first sip, this is more of a desert beer that you’d want to enjoy over time, with every taste, the hops are present, along with a sweet alcohol taste, that goes down smooth but has a nice burning like many liquors too, loved the beer but my palate is not used to something this strong,
