jerc (3114), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 16, 2004 Updated: Jan 1, 2008 December 2007. Bottle. Murky amber-copper body. Big aroma of hops, melange of fruit, citrus. Hops dominate throughout the flavour, moderate but omnipresent bitterness in the flavour is balanced by sweet citrus, caramel. (7+) Smooth full palate is less syrupy than I remember, not very carbonated. (3+) Pretty nice. 8/3/7+/3+/17 - 3.9
<P>May 2004. Bottle. Hops and alcohol leap from the glass into your nose. Syrupy mouth feel is actually quite nice. Ridiculously deceptive in hiding its alcoholic content, and is dangerously drinkable, with the hops balancing nicely with the sweet alcohol. I sink into this one deliriously falling for its seduction. Thanks Jeremy USA! 8/3/9/4/18 - 4.2
dwaggs2 (93), Warrensburg, Missouri, USA Aug 31, 2008 Bottle. Pours an orange color with a faint white head. Leaves some lacing on the side of this glass. Aroma is hoppy and alcohol. Flavor is sweet, fruit, citrus, alcohol and grass. This beer warms you up as you drink it. Not as hoppy as I thought it would be but good never the less ideardorff (27), Palmer, Alaska, USA Aug 30, 2008 Smells of alcohol and prunes. Cloudy orange with a white head and a bit of darker sediment that came out at the end. The taste is surprisingly smooth for the alcohol content, sweet and almost like a desert wine, not as hoppy as I thought. Thick mouth feel and hardly carbonated. Very unique but almost transcends the beer category. imadeadguy (151), Westampton, New Jersey, USA Aug 29, 2008 06. Pour is murky and cloudy with not much head. Aromas of sweet malt, sugar, and alcohol. Flavor is a straight up MALT BOMB! All alcohol and malt. Down the drain this guy went. knights97 (52), Tennessee, USA Aug 27, 2008 This is one monster beer, pours to a cloudy amber body, smells of hops and strong liquor taste, has a small white head that dissipates quickly. From the first sip, this is more of a desert beer that you’d want to enjoy over time, with every taste, the hops are present, along with a sweet alcohol taste, that goes down smooth but has a nice burning like many liquors too, loved the beer but my palate is not used to something this strong, rbod (25), Davie, Florida, USA Aug 26, 2008 This IPA, is quite boozy, but amazing. You still get a full hoppy flavor. Definitely recommend.
