This is my third 12 oz bottle (not 3rd today) Got them all from the E Bremerton Red Apple (Gargiulles) - they are not out in the cooler; you need to ask the owner (Tim) to get one from the back. Nice cloudy orange color with a small head that reduces fast. Aroma is sugar cane, sweet fruits and hops. Taste is too sweet because the hoppiness is hidden behind the sugars. Nice warm and sweet finish - hops are more prevalent at the end. Tastes good, but disapointed after the 90 and all the hype.

Jan 4, 2010 This beer has little in common with the brewery’s 60 and 90 minute IPA’s. This beer is very sweet and alcoholic with hops only really adding to the dryness of the finish and to the balance of the malt sweetness. This is by no means a showcase of hops. A good beer, and certainly extreme and strong and best enjoyed as a sipper at room temperature like a glass of sherry or red wine.

Jan 2, 2010 Updated: Jan 3, 2010Pours a dark yellowish with a white head. Strong hop and alcohol aroma.Taste is sweet and hoppy, can notice hints of the alcohol as you drink it. 90 minute is far superior in my opinion.

Jan 2, 2010 Pours hazy copper with thich off-white cream head. Nose is sour and astringent, with bready hints and banana notes. Medium bodied... but intense sweetness gives it a syrupy quality. Hops are present but are out-dueled by under-attenuation. Finish is hot and lingers a bit like cough syrup. I may be overly harsh because of my high expectations... but still, stick with the 90 minute as it is a far far superior brew

Dec 30, 2009 I’ve looked for this beer at the stores around me for the better part of two years now, and last night I walked into a bar with some friends and saw it listed on the beer list. A bit expensive but I bought it anyways. Smells big on the hops. Mouthfeel is thick, and almost syrupy. Taste is very hoppy as expected, with a citrusy sweet flavor too.

Dec 30, 2009 Keg was tapped today at my local haunt. Just the right complement of low sweetness and bitterness masked the taste of alcohol. Light/Medium body.

Dec 29, 2009 Dark yellow-orange beer with a thin off-white head. Strong alcohol aroma with a lot of sweetness. Very sweet flavor to match, with alcohol beating you back down, overpowering a lot of the very present hop character. Burning. Yet, interesting, and delicious at the same time.

Dec 29, 2009 Some of us split a case, and I ended up with a 3 pack. Very good, and very unique. This case had over a year on it, and the hops had mellowed. They wern’t bitter anymore, it was more of a citrus cider like flavor. The mouth feel was very very thick, and of course, one bottle packs a whollop. Excellent beer that I wouldn’t mind having another 6 pack of.
