beezz86 (68), Jasper, Indiana, USA Mar 26, 2009 Bottle. Poured a clear yellow-orange color and had a minimal white head with little lacing. The aroma was very hoppy and had hints of citrus, floral, and pine hops. The beer has a medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, and a bitter finish. The flavor follows the aroma and is very hoppy. Overall, I really like this beer. It has a very unique flavor from the combination of hops. This is a great beer to drink for flavor. Gethinbeer (997), Nova Scotia, Canada Mar 26, 2009 On tap. Golden colour with a thin head. Bitter grapefruit flavour with a sweet tangy finish. linc33 (177), Albany, New York, USA Mar 26, 2009 On tap at the Ginger Man. Good, balanced IPA, but lacking a little oomph all the way around. The DFH 90 minute is a much better brew all around. As another rater said it’s DFH with "training wheels." ChapelThrill (26), California, USA Mar 25, 2009 Updated: Apr 1, 200912 oz. bottle - pours an amber golden color, with little head. Not a big IPA fan in general, but this is one of my favorites. Aromas of hops, pine, and citrus as well as sweet smells I normally associated with white wine. Smooth in the mouth, and very easy to drink. Not too bitter for me, which is why I liked it. hobbersr (393), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada Mar 25, 2009 Acquired in a trade with Matt7215. Pours a nice coppery orange with a nice white head. Aroma is very complex. grapefruit, pine, floral notes, soft fruits, spice... there is more but I can’t put my finger on the number of smells. Tastes very bright and fresh. Grapefruit, pine, resin, cantaloupe, flowers, spices, cedar, and orange. Palate is very nice. Really, really good beer. Extremely drinkable and delicious. Thanks Matt! MishkinBeer (64), , New York, USA Mar 22, 2009 The 60 Minute IPA pours clear orange with a white head. Aroma is primarily hoppy in character. This medium bodied beer is very well balanced. Hops, alcohol and medium carbonation level merge together with some tasty apples to produce a wonderful concoction. There’s even a slight earthiness that gives the brew added complexity. The finish is bittersweet - a delicious experience. xShanex (47), Mansfield, Texas, USA Mar 22, 2009 Updated: Apr 9, 2009Bottle. Pours a beautiful medium gold with medium foamy off white head. Moderate lacing. Smell is delightful with citrusy hops and a strong floral aroma. Strong hop flavor but balanced nicely. A bit to carbonated for my liking but still smooth none the less. A great brew from Dogfish Head. I think I’d rather the 90 minute. Have another? Hell yeah, and bring some more hot wings while you’re at it!!! soccer290 (135), Highland Park, Illinois, USA Mar 22, 2009 12 oz bottle. Had this way too many times, but I’m on spring break, so I’m rating beers I’ve had that I haven’t rated before. Pours a slightly darker golden color with a tiny white head that dissipates faster than most. Smells of citrus, some floral-ness, hops, and while it sounds weird: wood (cedar/pine). Tastes of citrus, hops, and some pine. Goes down pretty smooth, with a bit of hop bite at the end. Very good, but only a session beer, as it does not have the flavor for a great beer.
