roborb (59), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Mar 20, 2009 12 oz bottle poured into a standard pint glass. This beer pours a yellowish/orange hue with a nice tight 1 finger head. The aroma consists of pine and citrus. The initial taste is very nice but for whatever reason I keep getting a weird aftertaste. While I enjoy most of the dogfish brews this is not one of my favorites. Perhaps I had a bad bottle. Will re-review when tried again. ILduce (133), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 18, 2009 341ml bottle: My first attempt at a Dogfish Head offering. Orange-amber with no head. Powerful hoppy nose with some pine needles. Flavour profile consists of mainly hops, some malt and traces of apricots. Very bitter. Nicely put together. BVery (446), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA Mar 16, 2009 TAP: golden pour, good lacing. Floral citrus hops on the nose, very well balanced with malt. Awesome IPA. ben4321 (952), Rockville, Maryland, USA Mar 16, 2009 Overall Impression:
Not the strength and intensity of the 90 or the 120, but a really nice IPA.
I also like it when they do the 90/60 together and call it a 75 Minute IPA. Noelweichbrodt (11), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Mar 15, 2009 This tastes like hops...and hops...and more sweet glorious hops. If you want to forget whatever you had been drinking before, this is your beer. After the first blast of a sip, pine, grapefruit, cantelope, & lillies rush through your mouth, and linger.
Special, unique beer. xs2500 (90), Mississippi, USA Mar 14, 2009 Pours a lite amber color with a head that dissipates quickly. Nice and hopy, but not too overbearing. Quite enjoyable thefrutigers (100), , Arizona, USA Mar 13, 2009 Bottle 12oz: Pour amber with a medium diminishing head. Smells of sour citrus and piney hops, but smell was not very strong. Tastes lightly sweet with a hint of hoppy flavor and a bitter finish. Thin in the mouth and had an almost flavorless point to it in the middle. Overall pretty good. Great IPA, just not the best IPA for me.
