UPDATED: MAR 12, 2007 12oz. bottle - pours clear golden with a small white head on top that leaves nice lacing in the glass. Aroma is of citrusy hops, with piney earthiness underneath. Flavour is extremely smooth and drinkable, and very refreshing. Light/medium bitterness in the finish, preceded by grapefruit, pine, spruce, and earthy notes. A fantastic regular IPA, citrusy, of course hoppy, but not extreme or "hit you over the head". Very well balanced, with a good dose of sweet malt lending smoothness and a soft character to tame the rush of hops. Extremely fresh tasting. This is a beautiful beer. One of the best "regular" American IPAís Iíve had.

One of the best IPAs Iíve ever had. Dogfish head gets another beer right. Dark ruddy brown color and decent head and lacing. Aroma is very appealing. Great hoppy flavor, but no where near overwhelming. An almost perfect IPA

Poured from a bottle with a deep amber color and thin head. Aroma of floral hops and piney, too. The flavor was just what I expected from DFH, full of hops and smooth at the same time. This a top notch IPA, a must have for hop lovers.

DFH can do no wrong. Super hoppy aroma. Bitter citrus, pine, earthy flavors, but extremely smooth. Every sip makes you thirsty for more.

Extremely hoppy like most India Pale Ales. Very intense aroma. Copper body, by looking at it i could tell how hoppy this beer would be.
