a nice big floral citrus hop scent opens the aroma a little bit of carmel malt. Pours a nice light copper color w/ a thin white head and some nice carbonation and good lacing. head dissapates too quickly though. Palate is very carbonated coats well and is fairly creamy. Flavor is a little one demensional w/ a citrus hop dominating and a tiny light malt in the finish. Overall a decent IPA but iíd rather have a 90 or 120.

UPDATED: FEB 26, 2006 Citrusy, fruity floral aroma. Pours a slightly cloudy orange, with a thin head and lace. Starts off crisp, dry. A surge of carbonation hits strong as well. As it warms, the carbo lessens and the beer becomes more flavorful, with a citrus fruity taste. Hoppy all around, great IPA. Reccomended.

Bottle. Clearly an above average IPA. Dark amber with a large creamy off white head. Complex aroma of hops. Medium body with long complex bitter finish.

bottle. copper-golden body, lasting fluffy white head. typical sticky hop resin aroma, also citrus and earthy malt notes. Creamy smooth body. Generously hopped, but in a way that makes it extremely palatable. Piney hops, long bitter finish. Great IPA.

Excellent IPA. Although I had the 90 minute right after which made the 60 seem mild by comparison. But in and of itself, it is right up there with the top of this style.

UPDATED: FEB 20, 2007 Aroma is hoppy and citrusy with kind bud accents. The body is a light copper and holds a very firm and lasting white head. Fore has a lot of floral hop flavor, sweet malt, sugar cookie and a very faint toasted accent. There is definitely a feel of quality to this beer. It is what it is a session strength (by American Standards) IPA. But, the fact that this is a quality brew is evident. It looks good. It is clean tasting. The mouthfeel is spot on. Itís just a damn good beer even if (like me) you donít really appreciate the style.

Pour is a copper color with a small white head...pretty typical of ipaís. Aroma has hints of citrus and malt. Taste is sweet on the front end with a smooth shot of hops and fruit in the finish. Very good IPA. Sam and the boys are my personal gods....I love most everything they brew.

had the 90 minute IPA first, enjoyed that. Enjoyed this too. The head last very long Hoppy, but not over powering, caramel flavor. dont like IPAís that much, but this is an exception

Perfect IPA. I love this beer. The color is a golden copper and very consistent between bottle and tap, spot on for traditional style. A whipped creamy white head forms after pouring and chases the beer down to the bottom of the glass. Truly a sign of a world class beer. A beautiful waltz occurs between the rich malt and the hops. Spicy citrus, earthy, and conifer hop elements all exist here in blanced nirvana. Everything I love about IPA is here. The finish leaves the palate clean, dry, and crying out for another taste. For a bottle conditioned beer it possess exceptional clarity. If you donít like this beer, just give it up now.
