Draft at VT Brewers Fest - Pours a golden amber with a decent whitish head. Aroma is a floral/citrus with Flavor is a very excellent citrus/piney/hoppy mixture that I really like. Finish is bitter and hoppy. Excellent! Too bad they did not serve the 120! This was really good!

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2005 Solid. Tight, bitter, carbonated nose dissipates slowly, with floral and woody notes appearing along the way. Nice, understated bottle, too.

Simply a darn fine IPA. I like Alesmith’s IPA more, but that shouldn’t imply the Dogfish version is bad. I like the 90 and 120 versions so much that I feel the 60 minute style isn’t "enough" for my tastes. If I remove the bias I can say(without hesitation) that this one is a keeper. Flowery, hoppy nose is very typical...very expected. The flavor is piney, citrusy, and definitely hoppy....just not super intensely so. I like it and could drink it over long sessions easily. The folks at Dogfish really know their beers.

simple light bronze color, small creamy head. light flowery, lightly herbal nose, a bit underwhelming. Flavor is very much alive. light moderately sweet malt, a bit of a dry straw german touch to the malts as weel. hops are piney and spicey, everpresent throughout. excellent, soft fluffy body

this is a pretty good ipa. I think it’s more propriate the amount of alcohol in this beer compared to the 90 min. ipa. This is a typical, pretty bitter ipa. Love them.

UPDATED: FEB 18, 2008 another good ipa from dogfish. i liked this one a bit less than the 90, it seemed a bit less flowery, and obviously a lot less flowery then the 120. it was a refreshing beer nice for a hot summer day. a perfect amount of hops added to this unique brew, which poured out a beautiful gold, and smelled as well as any pale ale should. Must get fresh or it sucks, as it doesnt make for a good malt-bomb by any means.

Wonderful aroma that is matched by a intensly hoppy character!! An excellent example of an AMerican IPA...

poured cloudy orangish with a white head. aroma citrus like grapefruit, hops hints of yeast.flavor grapefruit with sugar on it, hops a touch of alcohol and a nice bitterness after taste. I did like the 90 min. better but this came in a close 2nd I am sure glad the fish finally swam to mich.
