poured cloudy orangish with a white head. aroma citrus like grapefruit, hops hints of yeast.flavor grapefruit with sugar on it, hops a touch of alcohol and a nice bitterness after taste. I did like the 90 min. better but this came in a close 2nd I am sure glad the fish finally swam to mich.

UPDATED: OCT 18, 2007 Plenty of hop lace with less yeast residue than previous versions. Piney hop aroma dominates the nose more than ever. Very fresh hop bitterness leads the finish with pale malt as a chaser. Light yeast and diacetyl signature and mild dry hop notes. Huge resinous hop aftertaste. P. S. It’s even better on draft, with even less yeast signature and even fresher hops.

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2005 Very nice IPA. I just like to taste the hops, so I’m not sure if the whole continual hopping strategy works for me. It does make the beer more drinkable. Doesn’t anyone else think it poured a bit hazier about a year ago? Too much filtering now?

I’m in a Dogfish head mood tonight. I really liked this one. On my current list, this ranks as my third best IPA I’ve had. Liked Lost Coast and Stone just a wee bit better. This one has great flavor, hoppy and very drinkable. If Dogfish was available here I’d never be without it.

This beer poors a large frothy head on a clear orange body. Aroma is significant and has intense hopy aroma of pine. Flavor is unbalanced in my opinion and does not exhibit the malty backbone of good IPA’s like stone. INspite of this flaw it is refreshing and nice. Slighlty sweet initially with a significantly bitter finish. Ilook forward to trying the 90 and 120.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2010 RE-RATE. poured from bottle. Aroma is hops (of course) and ocean. Clear honey amber, thin white head. Flavor of hops and pineapple. Creamy texture. Outstanding drinkability. Another excellent DH creation.

May tasing notes; Bottles marked "5". I’m guessing fresh batch. Very good with a light fluffy head, great mouth feel and noticable but not obnoxious (nor flowery, either) hops. However, an odd flavor to the malt… what do these guys brew with, anyway? And why call it "chunky style"?

UPDATED: JUN 12, 2004 Mondial de la Biere 2004. Orange amber colour with a thin frothy off-white head. Caramel, toffee, and fruity aroma. Dark bread, toasty malts, and a lingering fruity bitter finish. Similar to Hop Devil, but the bitter finish starts slower and lingers longer. Medium bodied and juicy.
