Bottled. Orange colour. Aroma is huge and flowery with notes of citrus, grape and mandarin. Flavour brings mostly grapefruit but the mandarin notes are clearly there. This would gain from a little more body maybe, still I love it. Dry of course.

Poured an orange with small white head. Aroma of hops. Very flavorful grapefruit hop taste.

Bottle. I’m still a relative novice when it comes to IPAs, so wanted to try a highly rated one. Not disappointed at spending the bucks. The aroma is solid and super. Hoppy as anything but not at all one dimensional. An unfiltered golden straw color. Passes the "good at any temperature" taste test. Adding this one to my list of personal favorites. BUY AGAIN: Yes, as an occasional treat - but you can buy me one anytime.

I tried this one after I had tried the 120 Minute IPA (which drinks more like a brandy, a delicious beerbrandy). This was hop-hop-hoppy and delicious. Sweet and citrusy, and very easy to quaff. Dogfish are hardcore.

My first IPA. Head came a bit slowly, then lingered. Even copper tone below teh head. Light, airy lacing, which was matched in flavor. Most refreshing, and smooth going down. Dogfish’s own description of cedar is very apt. Matched quite nicely with preztels and BBQ sour cream dip.

Pours a creamy, off-white head. Nice citrus aroma - very sweet smelling. Great drinkability - hints of apricot, pine with fruit rind finish? Nice!

12 oz bottle: pours a beatutiful copper hue with a big off white head. the aroma is awesome. very hoppy. sweet floral citrusy hops, with hints of pine, apricot and grass. very nice malty back bone with tons of hop flavor. sloghty sweet but very balacned by a citrusy resinous bitterness that lingers on the end. this beer made amarillo hops my favortie. i love this beer. i could drink it every day.

Just when I was about to dismiss Dogfish Head as The Most Overrated Brewer In The Free World, this lil’ jewel comes along. This stuff is good, people, and I’m not just blowin’ smoke out of my tookis. A nice and mild IPA with just a tinge of bite makes this one VERY drinkable and EVEN MORE enjoyable. (It’s even worth the $9 you plunk down for a sixer.)

Nice copper/bronze color with an off white head (forgot to note the lacing). Aroma was a bit too hoppy for me which is odd because I enjoy intensly hoppy beers - might have been the glass or temperature. In any event, the flavor was very very good. Hearty bitterness and a consistent finish and aftertaste. Even for such a robust IPA, it is very drinkable, satisfying and will always be welcome in my fridge!

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2004 Light copper body with mild carbonation and a fluffy white head. Aroma is floral plus light pine, nectarine and other stone fruits, and the signature DFH brown sugar malt quality. This is a major hop fix. Hop flavor is spicy, cheesy and somewhat catty. A juicy citrus quality develops with time. Despite the comparably low IBU’s advertised, this beer leaves me with the strongest hop impression of the three DFH "Minute" beers. Resinous flavor and feel. Has some noticeable residual sweetness but lacks the nice malty balance of big brother 90 Minute.
