This is a very well balance hoppy IPA which has a smooth finish. After having this in a sampler pack, I went out for a case of this. It has a bit of a rusty taste in regards to its bitterness but that is what I expect in an IPA. I only wish the 90 minute and 120 minute IPAs from Dogfish sold for the same price this one does!

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Dark amber, unfiltered with a pretty flat head and some sediment. Pronounced hoppiness in the nose, in fact the hops saturates this beer - they’re simply all over and returns in the palate. One of the most hardcore IPA’s I’ve had.

This IPA pours out Tan-orange with small white head. The aroma is mild and slighly hoppy. The flavor is smooth with a medium body and can be best described as grapefruit or critus. Nice IPA try one.

hazy orange colour, big foamy head, very well-hopped (what a surprise ...), strong aroma of apricot, grapefruit and cream, medium to full-bodied, slightly oily, the mouthfeel is quickly overwhelmed by a powerful bitterness which persists in a very long fruity and flowery finish - about just the right amount of bitterness for my taste - thanks to fiulijn for this beer !

Definitely a session IPA, as it’s malt-hop ratio is well-balanced when compared to the popular hopped up versions available from other US craft-microbrews of the style. The DFH brewery continues to intrigue me with some of the offerings made available for purchase. I prefer the 90-minute, but I am sure that 90%+ would concur with that statement. As far as session IPA’s are concerned, I put Avery & Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale at the top of my personal list of favorites.

Parallel with 90 Minutes and Sixty-One

Hazy golden color with small head. The aroma is lightly malty; the mouthfeel is smooth, it has some pale malt flavor, correct bitterness, but not much hop quality.
Disappointing.

Beautiful golden color and big creamy head. Very nice hop aroma, crispy, a bit nutty, and fruity (mature apricots and raisins). Some good malt flavor, unable to balance the huge amount of hops, with a lot of caramel character. Enjoyable.

Had on tap at Ashleys in Ann Arbor, wonderful IPA, pours medium amber with considerable lacing. Fresh hops with slight spice, finishes with alchohol running through.

Very good IPA. Orange golden appearance with a smell of very fresh hops. Taste has the same spicy, fresh hop taste. I do like a little more sweetness to back it up, but this is still delicious.

excellent brew!! Has a great bite/flavor. Definately one of the better ’mass’ produced i.p.a. But I haven’t had the 90 minute imperial... yet.

There are no defects in this beer which is the only compli, ent I can give. This is at best a pale ale not near enough hops to be an IPA, sweet malt nose predominates in what should be a very floral style.unimpressive unbalanced sweet bland pale ale witha following based on hype and not my style of IPA at all.
