jamvin23 (162), chicago, Illinois, USA Feb 15, 2009 Bottle. Deep golden in color with a large white head. Aroma: fruity, floral hop notes. Flavor: floral hops, a light maltiness and sweet bitterness. gringo332 (237), Richardson, Texas, USA Feb 15, 2009 Light gold/copper color with a medium white head and average lacing. Aroma of strong pine and citrus (oranges and grapefruit) hops. Taste of pine hops, medium to strong hoppiness, crisp finish with a nice bite. Balanced with some caramel malt. Not the hoppiest or most balanced, but a very solid, consistent and drinkable IPA. BroSpud (586), , Massachusetts, USA Feb 12, 2009 Huge fan of the 90 Minute so naturally had to get a taste of these. Quite good but pricey. Rather spend a bit more and stick with the 90. Now onto the 120s... elihapa (1034), Honolulu, California, USA Feb 9, 2009 Bottle. Pours clear and pale orange in color with a small white head. Aroma of bright citrus, lemon and flowers. Flavor is beautifully balanced, beginning with some fruity assertions, then transitioning into spicy, tart notes of grapefruit and pink lemonade primarily. Finishes on a lingering note of fruit, bitterness, and slightly toasted bread. Aftertaste is slightly odd, but not so much to detract from the quality of this brew. Kenbeer30 (41), Texas, USA Feb 8, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Enjoyed this with a friend. Poured a rich golden hue with eggshell head. Head reduced to a thin layer on top the never went away. Beer laced my favorite pint glass very nicely. So, it is a curious beer. The aroma is malty cured fruits, and leaves one wondering if the hops in this IPA are going to answer the bell at the tasting. The flavor is similar to the nose except the hops announce their arrival. And it finishes with the hops large in the back of the throat. Very rich dried floral burst. Very nicely brewed. The first taste makes me want another. Someone spent considerable time in the laboratory getting this chemistry right. Very nice. NdubyaB (11), Cartersville, Georgia, USA Feb 6, 2009 As someone who has been a dogfish head fan this was a let down. Sure its an IPA, but wheres the hoppy goodness? The flavor was lacking. Just so so. It was reminiscent of another beer that has small flavor and a hop after taste with no bitterness hardly at all. Its like drinking carbonated watered down grape fruit juice. joeyplush (328), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 6, 2009 Light gold/copper color with a medium white head and average lacing. Aroma of strong pine and citrus (oranges and grapefruit) hops. Taste of pine hops, medium to strong hoppiness, crisp finish with a nice bite. Balanced with some caramel malt. Not the hoppiest or most balanced, but a very solid, consistent and drinkable IPA. nhamilton (58), Cibolo, Texas, USA Feb 4, 2009 A disappointment due to poor taste. Pours light brown with small white colored head. Has a flat taste with a sour aftertaste.
