Jan 23, 2009 I don’t know how I have managed to go this long without rating this beer but here it goes. Pours a light amber gold with a tall, chunky, light tan that has good retention. Aroma is citrus and pine hops, caramel, a hint of nutty toffee, a hint of straw and some toast. Flavor is pine and caramel coated toffee ups front, toasted nuts, and toasted grain with citrus coming into swing in the middle, the finish is grapefruit, a hint of mellow pine, burnt sugar, and white bread toast. Body is sweet with a medium dry finish that really makes it perfect for any occasion.

Jan 21, 2009 Bouteille de 12 onces achetée à la LCBO Rideau/King Edwards un mois plus tôt. Arômes de pamplemousse et de houblon bien définis. Je remarque aussi un très léger fumé comme dans tourbe fumée. Il est peut-être question du houblon floral ici. Le liquide est blond translucide d’une clarté impeccable. Un léger col de mousse persiste. En bouche, c’est très rond et huileux. Le houblon mord la langue et on ressent son impact du début à la fin. Pas de subtilité dans cette bière, seulement de l’amertume de houblon qui réussit quand même à désaltérer. Bière agréable en compagnie d’une bonne pizza.

Jan 21, 2009 Poured beer had pale gold color, small head. First took a smell, immediate fruity citrus. Flavour is medium bitter. Palate is medium creamy average carbonation with a slight bitter aftertaste. This is a really enjoyable beer. First time I saw this at LCBO today bought a 12 oz bottle, i think I will get the full 6 pack now to keep on hand!

Jan 21, 2009 smells immediately like strawberries, like a sweet candy perfume. the colour is gold with a nice 1 cm head, very filling feeling. it tastes incredibly fruity, like grapefruit, bitter hops. it is slightly harsh feeling but i think im drinking it a bit too warm for the style. one cool beer, a little pricey at the store but very unique

Jan 20, 2009 What’s not to like? It pours well... looks good... and tastes great. Has a lot of cirtus taste, but it’s not distracting in the least. Can easily make a session out of this beer and I recommend you do. Probably in the top ten of my favorite beers. Here in the east (MD) the price is right to boot!

Pours a clear gold with a touch of orange. Off-white head. Nose contains lots of citrus (orange, grapefruit, lemon), with a light malty background. Flavor is much the same, with hints of floral hops and a touch of pine in the finish. Fairly bitter, but not so much that it ruins your palate. Medium mouthfeel. Overall, a fantastic session IPA.

Jan 19, 2009 A really nice beer. I had it on tap and it poured a nice orange color with a decent head. A little sweet and not too overpowering. A nice light finish. Easy to drink.
