jimmack34 (560), Lancaster, Ohio, USA Nov 20, 2008 Pours coppery brown with a thick creamy head. Smells citrusy and piney with some malty sweetness present as well. Tastes smooth and bitter with a load of piney hops, some sweet grainy malts. Very drinkable, full flavored, and balanced. This is a beer I drink whenever I see it. jonno (542), Brisbane, Australia Nov 2, 2008 Very impressive. One of the better american IPAs going around. Not as full on as some of the others, but with a good hoppy body to it. A couple of these would do me just fine. I’m becoming more of a fan of dogfish, who I always thought of as an exteme brewer, rather than a good brewer. top notch!
Bier brauen (210), Bremerton, Washington, USA Oct 31, 2008 A decent IPA. Nothing extra special. Very bitter grapefruit finsh, medium dark gold color, disappating head, no real lacing. PaulHegedus (458), Georgetown, Ontario, Canada Oct 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours golden with a thick, white head, wonderful hop aroma: pine, grapefruit, bubblegum, wood, a bit of orange. The mouthfeel is medium with nice carbonation throughout. Flavour starts sweet with bold hopping, not terribly bitter, with wood, grapefruit, lemon, some orange. Jsawyer (282), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 29, 2008 Bottled. Pours a clear light gold and copper body with a moderate white head that produces some lacing. Effervescent as well. Aroma is sweet spruce, barley, and slightly malty. Flavor is bittersweet pine and barley malt. Palate is somewhat thin unfortunately. Finish is resinous and hoppy. Not as well balanced as I would’ve liked but good nonetheless. adamlangolf (21), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA Oct 29, 2008 Doesn’t look or smell like anything amazing. Surprisingly unique taste but do to low ABV and much carbonation this brew doesn’t do quite enough for me. For something like this that is amazing....Try Mad Anthony India Pale Ale. You will love it. 100 % Chinook Hops. bretupdegraff (172), Fishers, Indiana, USA Oct 27, 2008 aroma is hoppy hoppy hoppy. Taste is very much the same. Great flavor and very complex. Not as awesome as the 90 minute. But good none the less.
