| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 16, 2008 After months of waiting & anticipating its arrival it finally hit the Ontario shelves last week, however us downtown Torontonians had to wait a little longer than the rest of Ontario. After days and days of refreshing the LCBO (Ontario Liquor board) website for its arrival downtown, it finally trickled down to us and it took me two days and a lot of shoe leather to finally get myself a couple of six packs. Anyhow, on with the rating. Appearance: Wonderful white head - at least two fingers thick with a golden orange body and some slight visible carbonation. Aroma: Ahh there they are! What I have been waiting on - hops.. grapefruit, some slight pine, banana & lemon, my mouth is watering. Flavour: Yippee! More hops, definite fruitiness, slight bitterness again with grapefruit and pine with a some grainy notes too. A lovely long bitter-dry finish, simply delicious. carruthm (1121), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Sep 12, 2008 Updated: Mar 7, 2009What you’ve got here: Is probably the best balanced IPA I’ve ever had. An awesome toffee malt backbone is the perfect compliment to the abundant, but not out of control leafy and piney hop character. Indeed, this is a mighty fine brew. Finishes outstandingly with a delicious sweet malty taste. Mouth-feel is great because of the moderate carbonation. Really good stuff, I was the first to get a sixer from the LCBO as this one arrived, and I’m not at all put off by the price. Everything just works together so well. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 7, 2008 Hops in the aroma and flavor. Initially very bitter but gradually becomes more mellow. A very balanced IPA and one of the few I could drink all night. DandyWolfFloyd (331), Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 4, 2008 Very hoppy nose, featuring multiple hops, some citrus (grapefruit, and strong citrus aromas). It’s a clean golden color, w/ a fully developed head, having excellent lacing, were talking silk stockings, collar remains all the way to the very bottom. It’s flavor is full of piney oils - excellent hop flavor, w/ citrus as well, nice mild malt bodies, really let the hops come to center stage. It’s smooth, well-balanced, nice hop - burn, but not incinerating. The claim is session, but I’m not certain that is true maybe 3 tops. An excellent brew, plenty dry, plenty hopped, lots of character.
