| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Jul 31, 2008 Aroma is citrusy with a little pepper and a slight sour note. Color is a bright clear gold with very good carbonation and a thick tight head. Taste is super hop and citrusy. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a rich feel. Finish is a pine sap flavor then a bold citrus that leans on the side of orange. After taste has a slight smoky flavor in it. I don’t like this brew, the citrus is way to overpowering and rich. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 30, 2008 Pours a clear gold color with a medium head colored yellowish white. Aroma is of mild hops and grapefruit/citrus. Taste is citrus and some spicy hops. Could use just a bit more hop bite, but this is an excellent IPA. nqualls (1429), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 28, 2008 Updated: Mar 25, 200912 oz bottle purchased from the local Kroger. Poured a clear amber/orange color with a two finger, foamy white head. The aroma was very complex, with obvious malty notes present, but notes of resin, flowers and citrus (grapefruit mainly) dominate the nose. The flavor was well balanced, with a solid malt base giving way to a citrus and resiny pine finish. This is a solid beer. Droptank (79), Spring, Texas, USA

Aroma of citrus and grass. Very refreshing and somewhat juicy in the mouth, with a light hoppy sensation, orange and pine are present as well. Pawola22 (707), Kansas City, Missouri, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 28, 2008 Pours a very clear orange. Finger width off white head thats fizzy and lingers leaving some lacing. Strong smell of citrus hops, spicy, malty, and hints of apricots. The flavor is very hoppy, lots of citrus, fruity, and sweet malts. Bitter finish and a very solid balance. Not hint of alcohol whatsoever. A medium to light body, dry finish, no real carbonation feeling, and a lingering hoppy bitterness. Overall, a very well balanced beer. Great citrus taste and a nice lingering hop. Not overpowering or complex, but not simple. Pretty damn good IPA. Fruitfly (59), , Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 27, 2008 Fresh bottled, under 2 weeks. First whiff of aroma is something I can’t finger: strong, high note, astringent. This is overpowering but there is a maltiness underneath. Appearance is a golden, slightly dark amber with little or no head. Taste: bitter but lacking complexity, tangy but smooth and even. Overall, I’d prefer more balanced hop flavour in an IPA, decent but not spectacular.
