FortyFirkins (25), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Jun 25, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours clear golden-orange with a smallish white head and not much lacing. Aroma of citrus (orange/grapefruit) and a nice hop tickle. Has the initial hoppy kick of the standard IPA, then an exceptionally balanced, woody and citrus finish that is just slightly bitter. Very fine IPA. screigh (253), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Jun 22, 2008 Pours a very clear golden color. Fluffy white head with some lasting power with nice lacing. Aroma is mild. Taste is somewhat aggressive but finishes mild. No bitter finish. Kind of reminds me of cooked steak for some reason. I could see me "sessioning" this ale. IPAaLLtHEwAY (136), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA Jun 22, 2008 I enjoyed this IPA, very refreshing. A true session beer.Kinda reminds me of the taste of popcorn not sure why though. sja14 (105), Ohio, USA Jun 22, 2008 Pours orange with a beige head. Smells of delicious hops. Very complex flavor with bitterness that is potent but not overpowering. My favorite IPA. Every sip turns up new layers of flavor. Parksy (40), Alberta, Canada Jun 21, 2008 An excellent IPA, but for me it pales in comparison to the 90 minute IPA. Haven’t been able to try the 120 minute IPA yet... Still a very good IPA. rds (224), USA Jun 21, 2008 A full-bodied pale ale--modest head, golden clear body, but a clean, citrus finish that makes this a fine choice year round. andyp (4), Canada does not count Jun 20, 2008 Beautiful pale copper colour. The dryness keeps the head to little or none, but leaves the palate clear to appreciate the lingering hop flavour. Enough malt backbone for the hops, but not heavy. Just about perfect on it’s own, or with light food. Only slightly outshone as an American IPA by Bell’s Two-Hearted. mcc5468 (102), USA Jun 20, 2008 Pours a nice medium copper color. Minimal head. Aroma is slight pine. A nice, dry, hop taste. Not overdone but definitely hoppy. Nice, tight, clean. A good IPA. I find this better than the 90 or 120 minute which is far too sweet for me.
