specksnreds (55), USA Jun 20, 2008 A nice break from the intensity of the 90 Minute. I’ve come to appreciate its subtleties, and its FLAVOR is still miles ahead of most every other IPA I’ve had. Citrus, pine, bitter nice ABV, good head and easy to drink. Rciesla (3510), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Jun 20, 2008 bottle. A less bozzy version of the the 90 minute. Has is +/-’s. Positive is its more drinkable more malty, and an easier single ipa to drink. Negative is less ipa, and less abv. I still prefer the 90 on regular occasion but if i was gonna drink the whole 6er i might go with this. BleacherBum (176), Blowing Rock, North Carolina, USA Jun 18, 2008 Beautifully balanced IPA. Woody, citrusy hops and malt balance, but very crisp and clean! A wonderful IPA. Nothing seems overdone here. Slight estery notes in the finish. I love a dry, lingering finish on an IPA and this one delivers. Just a real clean, interesting IPA. Angeloregon (2024), Portland, Oregon, USA Jun 16, 2008 12 ounce bottle from Dave at By The Bottle in the ’Couve--Poured a light copper-amber body with a small white head. Citrus, malty, nutty nose with a crisp fruity piquancy. Flavor of rich, syrupy hops that give this beer a piny, floral bouquet. Nice maltiness in spine. Over priced, but well made. incutrav (576), Woodbury, Minnesota, USA Jun 16, 2008 Nice, crisp hop aroma, more of the same on the pallate. Not overally hoppy, thought this seemed more like an APA. Not bad, but does nothing to make me buy this over 2 Heart of Furious, certainly not at 11 a sixer. 12many (231), Ohio, USA Jun 15, 2008 A pretty clear orange golden pour with a decent white head. Citrus and pine hops in the nose. Good bitter sweet balance on the tongue with a long bitter finish which I enjoy. Great beer, but the 90 is better. esjaygee (1467), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Jun 13, 2008 Hazy amber with off-white slowly diminishing head. Aroma of fresh citrus, sweet malt, bread, nuts and light brown sugar. Taste of caramel, roasted malts, citrus hops, roasted malts and mild diacetyl. Creamy texture and a balanced body with a dry finish that’s mildly alcoholic and decently bitter. I liked this one. BigBeer45 (676), Troy, Michigan, USA Jun 11, 2008 Pours a clear golden orange with some amber into the glass, has a nice creamy white head, there are a few off-white bubbles, leaves creamy bubbled lacing on the sides of the glass, pine needles, flowers and fruit aromas journey to the nose, malt sweetness and some orange in the background follows, sip has lots of pine needles on the tongue, malt sweetness, citrus and fruit flavors, got some orange flavor, hop bitterness permeates the palate after the finish, medium mouth feel with even carbonation, I think this is a good IPA, brewed a little more towards the hop side of things.
