Swalden28 (1439), McKinney, Texas, USA May 21, 2008 Bottle, Market Street in McKinney, TX. They sell singles....
Poured a clear Deep Gold, Off-White head with ok retention. Aroma of, well, hop’s, slight grapefruit. Flavor of Slight-sweet malt and citris hops.....Full body, medium carbonation....Not bad at all, but the 90 still rocks Dogfish head! Petrucci914 (574), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA May 20, 2008 Pours a crisp golden color with a medium frothy white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some piney and citrus hipes, some pineapple and grapefruit. The taste is much more watery than I anticipated. Piney and citrus hops hit you up front with not much bitterness, and then there is a unique citrus tang on the palate. Not too bad, but it ain’t no 90-Minute.......too bad most batches of it suck. dalepryor (172), Paducah, Kentucky, USA May 20, 2008 i’m pretty sure this was my first from this brewery and led me to try all the others, pours amber/orange, the flavor is hops, it could be described as zesty, although it’s not as strong as the other IPA’s they produce it sure does pack a flavor punch, and is very accessible for someone who is getting into trying craft beer, as i was when i bought this. ~Pours a golden colour with thin creamy white head.
~Strong hop scent.
~ Rich hop flavor with a lot of sweetness.
~feels a little thick.
~I don’t care too much for this one. Feels to thick and sweet. ThaBobfather (178), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA May 17, 2008 Had this at a Dogfish Head tasting at Jungle Jim’s in Fairfield. It was delicious, smells magnificant. It’s too bad this was the worst beer we had there, but it was good. whiteman1488 (18), New York, USA May 16, 2008 This is what an IPA is supposed to taste like. It has the right amount of hops so that it has a strong hoppy flavor, but it doesn’t twist your stomach into knots as soon as you take a sip. Probably my favorite IPA out there. rampmaster (315), Alden, New York, USA May 15, 2008 I ordered the 60 Minute IPA on tap at Fat Bobs Smokehouse in Buffalo NY. It has a nice golden color with orange highlights and a small white head that makes great lace on the glass. The aroma is full of piney hops with some floral and citrus notes as well. Like the aroma the flavor is strait up hops over a lightly toasted malt base. It has a medium bodied palate with a slightly oily texture. The bitterness of the hops lingers long into the finish making this a grate beer for hop lovers. fiver29 (703), Cleveland, Ohio, USA May 14, 2008 Bottle pours a clear golden color with a white head. Has a nice slight hop aroma including some slight pine in the background. Has a medium-light mouthfeel. Tasts like a nice well rounded IPA with some pine, sweetness, and some citrus notes. Overall a great session brew.
