May 1, 2008 Shared with Pyrozoid. Clear golden poor with a thin frothy off-white head. Aromas of leather, grapefruit zest, caramel, pepper, pine and floral notes. Well balanced bitter mouthfeel... Well rounded in general with a hint of sweetness with a smooth overall mouthfell. Added flavors of corn, pepper and orange zest.

May 1, 2008 (Dégusté avec french tickler) Apparence Or tres claire avec un mince collet gener. Odeur épicé, poivré, une senteur qui me fait penser a du cuire. Arome de caramel également , cèdre. Gout d’oranges, poivre , un peu sucré, le coté cedre revient en bouche. Tres bonne biere!

May 1, 2008 This is the perfect IPA in my opinion. The aroma is a strong grapefruit, but not as strong as the 90 minute. The flavor is also the same toned down grapefruit (not as strong as the 90 minute) and I feel this actually helps this brew. The flavor is not overpowering and it makes this beer more bearable than the 90 minute. A very good beer that I can not wait to drink more of. Highly recommended.

Apr 30, 2008 Very solid american IPA. Lots of hop aroma and flavor. Slightly fruity, but due to hops, not actuall fruit. Pleasant mouthfeel but does leave my mouth very dry; I’m always thirstier after than before I drank it. Honestly, I find it over-hyped even though it is pretty good.

Apr 30, 2008 The beer pours a pale yellow amber with a bright white head that is mostly lasting. The nose is a sweet floral hoppyness. The taste is highly carbonated with a hint a hoppy bitterness mixed with a yeasty fresh bread flavor. The finish is malt and hops with a lasting yeasty bitterness. The mouth feel is carbonation and lively.

Apr 30, 2008 On tap @ The Ravenous Pig. Orange body, by the time it came to our table just a white ring around the outside. Huge whiff of pine and citrus hops, behind this hints of malt hide. Bracing hop bitterness that occasionally let a peek of full fruity malt shine through, just to finish crisply with a hop flourish. Solid!

Apr 27, 2008 Was lucky enough to find this on tap at the the Tappan Pub. Nice head, great aroma, lasting finish. I found it a little smoother than the 90.
