Saludos desde ginger man. La cerveza esta casi. Como la 1era q hicimos LooseCannon (914), Norfolk, Virginia, USA Apr 13, 2008 Draft. Pours clear orangish amber color with full foamy white head. Aroma of citrus hops. Taste sweet and hoppy with bitter finsih. restless7 (104), Lenexa, Kansas, USA Apr 12, 2008 BOTTLE: Nice golden color, very clear with generous white head. Hop aroma not overpowering with hints of orange. Taste is light hop with a late sweetness near the back of the tongue. Palate is smooth, medium liveliness, medium length, leaving slight dryness in the mouth, causing a crave for more. Nice balance and very easy to drink. blipp (1631), Newark, New Jersey, USA Apr 12, 2008 Bottle. Pours copper with an off white head. Aroma is very hoppy, and at times comes across as floral, pine or citrus. Caramel malt is there as well. Medium, sticky body. The flavor is sweet hoppy, but not overpowering. Floral, pine, orange and caramel. Perfect balance of bitter and sweet in this one, a really great session IPA. Tripplebrew (486), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA Apr 12, 2008 Pours a clear honey/amber yellow with thick white head that dissipates to a thin layer. Aroma is of pine and citrus. Flavor is largely pine-like hops with peppery notes. Body is light and carbonation is fair. A good, aromatic IPA. Apache (18), Georgia, USA Apr 11, 2008 Tap, I liked this better than the 90 minute in the realm of drinkability, it is smoother and not as hoppy as the 90. One of my new favorite beers. Boesky (39), Galesburg, Illinois, USA Apr 10, 2008 Bottle. One of the better IPA’s out there.
Golden pour, with a fine lace head. Nose is pungent with with fruit and pine. Firm, dry body with a lingering finish. One of my favorites, although I don’t buy it as much as I’d like to; primarily because DFH much like Bell’s (another favorite brewer) always seem to hold a significantly higher price point than much of the competition. Of course, as long as they can move all that they brew, more power to ’em. changeup45 (782), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 10, 2008 Updated: Jul 16, 2008 Hmmm... not quite as good as I once thought. Color is clear copper, with a relatively thick off white head. Some foamy lace forms on the side of the glass. Aroma is of hops and some sweet fruits, most notably apricots but it’s toned down. The flavor is sweet citrus fruits, grapefruit hops and a smooth drinking beer. Pretty refreshing but doesn’t have a strong hop profile for an IPA. A good everyday type of beer but it’s a little too expensive for that.
