Sparky27 (1559), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Apr 5, 2008 Bottle. The kinder, gentler version of its big brother. Pours a clear golden color with one finger head and great lacing. Nose is sweet citrus and malt. Palate is pineapple, pink grapefruit and malt with a slight bitter hop finish. A nice sessionable IPA.
craftbeerdesign (731), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA Mar 29, 2008 bottle. One of the best IPAs I’ve had to date.... Dogfish puts out some damn good beer and this is one of em. Just a really solid IPA... full of hoppy aromas and a nice hoppy finish. pours a deep golden color with a 1" white head... nice and crisp over the palate... a really solid session beer... 60 min shows you that a beer doesn’t have to be extreme or over 9% to be good, like many people are inclined to think. Yes, I do enjoy the high gravity and hoppier than hell beers, but 60 min is a solid beer that delivers on it’s description as "THE session beer for beer geeks like us." Bhops (329), Dallas, Texas, USA Mar 29, 2008 nice IPA but not my favorite of the genre... good intro to IPAs and other heavily hopped beers garretjax (103), Colorado, USA Mar 29, 2008 Clear copper amber in color and an off white thin head. Bready malt right off with some softer hops aromas following. Full bodied and a bit high in carbonation. Balanced malt flavors to the brisk bitter bite of the grapefruity hops. A dry finish that hangs just enough. chokmah33 (115), Bremerton, Washington, USA Mar 27, 2008 Harsh nose biting resiny citrus hops bouquet. Some fruit (apple, pineapple) and a little grease .
Soapy texture, awesome face twisting bitter in the mouth, that smooths out nicely.
Acidic flavors of grapefruit/perfume hops. Mellows out to a bitter fruity finish.
uhre (339), Denmark Mar 27, 2008 The aroma is very complex with notes of grass. It’s very fresh in the flavor. The flavor is also very complex what a wonderful IPA, one of the best I have tried. It has notes of grass, citrus and a very nice aftertaste. The head is ok, the colour is like copper. stpattyPING (1), Eglin AFB, Florida, USA does not count Mar 26, 2008 I did enjoy the 60 minute but the 90 minute is by far better, plus it is 9%. I did enjoy the beer but have had better, I am an IBU head.... dogfish120love (250), west hartford, Connecticut, USA Mar 25, 2008 Good but if you want to drink a real beer take a leap and drink the 90 or even the 120 which is harder to find but a gem when you get a hold of it.
