does not count  Sep 10, 2009 Bottle dispensed, this nectar is my "go-to brew", a daily vice that permits me joyous relief from the drudgery of life. Pine, citrus--these smells, already well-described by my rating predecessors here waft to my overly large nostrils. Taste matches the heady aroma, and washes away any doubt of this beer’s intrinsic value, and its impeccable reputation. For those poor souls who cannot obtain this gem, I weep for thee.

Sep 7, 2009 POurs orange. Nose is loads of citrus and sweet malts. Flavor is big citrus hops, bitter hop bite, caramel malt and some pine. I really like this IPA.

Sep 7, 2009 Draught at Murphy’s Law in Rochester. Big citrus-pine nose. Very good malt, with rich caramel and perfect sweetness. Great hops. Possibly THE perfect session beer.

Sep 7, 2009 ( 12oz bottle dated 5/15/09) pours opaque yellow, nice head and great lacing. Nose of pine and citrus hops. Taste is citrus hops, light touch of pine, and the sweetness is very well balanced. In fact this is as well balanced as an IPA gets and I can drink it all night. A huge statement since I’m not huge on hops.

Sep 6, 2009 Brassy pour with a big foamy head. Fresh hop aroma with a fresh pine scent. Malty and citric, better balanced than the 90min that I love, with some earthy notes.

Sep 4, 2009 Updated: Oct 4, 2009Draft. Pours deep, clear amber. Thick, frothy, beautiful white head. Brilliant lacing. Aroma of sweet malts, grapes, spice, and hops. Full body with a sugary, refreshing finish. Great local IPA.
