Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA

Poured from the tap into a tasting glass. The color is amber with a nice foamy white head. Some nice lacing. The smell is of citrus hops and some malt flavor. SMell a little like a peach. The taste is hoppy, some nice citrus hops mixed with some slight floral feel. Has a slight malty feel as well. This beer has a nice medium feel to this beer. A very smooth feel to this beer and does not have that harsh aftertaste that some hoppy beers do.

Really nice. On tap at Brouwer’s Hopfest ’09. Pours a transparent orange with a smallish head. Really crisp - the aroma is almost all citrus and pine hops, while the flavor brings in the caramel balance more. Just how it should be, in my book. Not too bitter, and it has a full mouthfeel. Really good stuff.

[bottle into shaker] head is thin and dissipates quickly, initial aroma is of Cinnamon but it quickly mellows to citrus and hops. Body is medium, pours translucent caramel. Palate is thin finish is bitter.

Bottle. Pours to a clear lightish orange with thinning white head. Aroma is a mixture of hops, orange fruitiness and delicate sweet malts - a truly wonderful smell.. An explosion of sweet hops that are balanced with enough malts to make this brew a keeper. One of my favorites.

Growler from Decicco’s nice Amber pour with a light head that does not last. Carmel bitter hops with a smooth bite and a nice finish. Very refreshing.

Aroma is what stands out on this brew mostly for me. Hits you the second you let it breath away from the bottle. The 120 IPA is said to be better when its poured out and let to breath a bit...I agree with the 60min IPA also. Overall an awesome Delaware brewed beer. Enjoyed the hoppiness very much.

Bottle. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of piney and floral hops. Flavors include pine and dried fruits. Nice hoppy bite, but not overwhelming, making this a smooth easy-to-drink choice. Very nice, I enjoyed it.

Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA is a clear golden ale with a thin, dense, white head that has outstanding retention and lacing. It has a full floral hop aroma with a touch of citrus. It smells bold and fresh. It’s medium bodied and very smooth. It has a slightly sticky finish, but it has a very clean feel overall. It’s slightly sweet and the bitterness is appropriate. It tastes resiny, leafy and floral. It’s well balanced and makes for an engaging drink.
