Pours a clear golden with minimal head. Aroma is pine and citrus but not nearly as bold as the west coast IPAs. Taste is a weak citrus and a little grassy with more of a malt presence than is usual for the style. Finish is dry and slightly bitter. I have had so many of these over the years and never understood the high ratings so I decided to try it once again and I still feel the same way. It is very easy to drink but there are so many better IPAs out there.

On tap at Nandoís Peri-Peri in Washington DC (and most other places in on the east coast of the US). Golden with off white head. Piney, grapefruity aroma with hints of malt. Taste is nicely balanced average malt feel and ample bitterness. This is what I think of when I think East Coast IPA. Solid beer.

12oz bottle into an English pint. Pours a clear copper-orange with a lasting, half-inch bubbly head. Light citrus hop nose, a bit of woodsy; sweet orange flavour, mild bitter finish. Light and easy drinking.

Poured pure gold. Nice frothy white head. Aroma of sweet, fresh pine and deep citrus. Taste of pine and super-cedar with fresh-squeezed orange finish. Bittersweet smooth finish doesn?t last long. Highly drinkable at 6.0 ABV.

Pours gold-brown with thin, clingy off-white head. Aroma is citrus and malt, not as pungent as Iíd expected. Same with the flavor - this is definitely session beer. Tasty for sure, but not terribly interesting.

12 oz bottle at home, thanks Daniel! Golden with white head. Aroma of caramel, fruit, tropical fruit, mango, apricot and light bread. Taste is very well balanced, medium dry, light caramel with an increasing bitter finish. Nice

Very clean beer. Golden amber color with a nice white head. Hoppy and floral aroma. Hop, caramel and malt flavors with medium body.

Flaske 0,33 liter, en ganske fin ipa, syntes dog at den mangler lidt aroma i forhold til andre gode ipa, men helt klart godt over middel.

One of my 3 go to beers, along with Little Sumpiní and Southern Tierís 2XIPA. Not really physiologically or taxonomically capable of providing the world at large with the Brillat-Savarin (Meditations on Transcendental Gastronomy) rundown on the metaphysical qualities of this brew, but I know what I like, and this qualifies. Has little in common with its piscene name, however, for those who might find it attractive.

On tap at Bukowski Tavern, Boston. Pours orange with white head. Citrus, fruity, hoppy but with good malty base. Balanced. Fruity bitter finish.
