3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, 6%. Vegetable aroma, reminds me of Nelson Sauvin hop. Clear grey amber colour. Small white head. The flavour is caramelly from the hops, still has a little wet hop, vegetable, NS. Nice and clean, though. Seems to have a little watery finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
2nd July 2008. Crisp amber beer with a dry finish. Quite a mild hop profile but enough to keep it interesting. A little malt in the finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Clear, golden pour, lightly sparkling, with a nice, lasting, white head. The aroma is very piney and citrusy, and there’s a little caramel-note too. The flavor has citrus, pine, bitterness and some caramel-like notes. Full-bodied beer with a little stingingness in the mouth. Long hoppy finish. A lovely pale ale that I think goes better with food than it does as a refresher. (070601)

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden color, small white head. Hoppy, flowery, a bit smokey nose. Sweetish, hoppy flowery, balanced IPA. Long flowery hoppy aftertaste, not too hoppy, so quite enjoyable as such.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JUN 1, 2003 (12oz. bottle conditioned 5/31/03) Hazy golden body with big off-white head. Aroma is floral, supported by pine & grapefruit, and medium sweet. Taste is pine and floral, moderately sweet. The finish is quite unusual -- sweet, then caramel-like-but-not-caramel malty, then fully bitter. Nice medium body, eminently drinkable.
(draft 8/1/02) Strong cascade aroma, slightly hazy golden body with slight head. Strong cascade bite -- fairly well balanced by moderate maltiness. Goes down (what else) bitter, and leaves you wanting more. (8/4/8/4/16)
