This beer has a hazy golden color and an alchoholic aroma. The taste: floral at first, but the hops quickly overcome any other taste. Still, itís crisp. clean and refreshing. Great for hot weather. Unfortunately, not available in Alabama.

From the bottle... nice white head with good retention. Golden color with slightly brown tints, pleasant citrus and piney hop aroma. Strong hop taste from start to finish. Nice texture and finish. Great beer.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
pours with a nice burnt gold color. the best balanced flavor of the three dogfish head i.p.a.ís Iíve tasted. good amount of hops in the nose and in the taste. the dry hopping adds a fresh hop taste that balances out the slightly sweet malt. maybe a hint of coriander after it "breaths" awhile.
my pick of the i.p.a. threesome from d.h.

What else can be said? A very exceptional example of a style that has become very common.

Piney, strong bitter hops with malty undertones. 5 second finish. Leaves slight dryness on palate urging you to take another sip. Surprisingly paired very well with Chinese food. Especially General Tso’s Chicken. (no joke)

Bottle from the LCBO. LIght amber color with medium white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is floral and hoppy! with some grapefruit. First sip is dominated by hops but then there is a nice balance of malts that comes in. Well balanced for the amount of hops. Then a bitter aftertaste. Overall a great beer.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
This was on tap and I am guessing it was somehow tainted in the processing because it canít be the same beer the other raters are discussing! The defining taste is of disinfectant or medicine. Chemical. Could not finish it. Had a dales on the table at the same time and that was tasting great, so I know it wasnt a problem with my taste buds! I cannot tell you more about the flavor because that was really all I could taste, it was so strong.

Orange and golden with a slight glaze. Strong fruit smell like a grapefruit with a hint of cannabis from the hops. Great IPA slightly bitter with a smooth finish.
