4.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours with a nice golden/caramel color and white head that stays. Mild fruit, hop, malt aroma. The malt really comes through in this beer and it’s very tasty. The hops are fruity with a nice smooth bitterness. Couldn’t make it better.

Aroma is grassy and hoppy flowers as expected. Taste is slightly leaning towards the malty side with the bitter hops entering towards the end and slowly takes over. There’s a pleasant citric aura that never takes over completely. A solid IPA brewed the way just as I like them. The American way!

4.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
A strong IPA of substance, complexity, and refinement. Many IPAs are over-the-top in one hop element or another, eg grapefruit or pine, but the dogfish 60 min is about balance. Strong without the alcohol overload and sharpness
If an imperial. Sierra Nevada Torpedo also right in this top of the class IPA. Beer snobs will poo-poo their relative popularity for craft beers, but it's because their both damn good beers!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Epsom Circle Market, Epsom, NH. Aroma is hoppy cedar and a little bit earthy and grassy. Appearance is hazy slightly orangey-yellow with sparse effervescence, minimal white head and mild lacing. Taste is lightly bitter--pleasantly hopped. Palate is medium bodied with lively carbonation that zings the tongue all over. Finish is mildly bitter, dry and abrupt. Overall, with all the hoopla that accompanies this beer, I expected something more dramatic. Even if I didn’t like it (I’m not a huge fan of IPA’s), I expected something that would stand out and this just seems drinkable, competent and fairly pedestrian. At the very least it isn’t disgustingly hoppy so it’s got that going for it. A bit of a letdown after all this time. Definitely wouldn’t spend the money on this versus others.

Served very cold, into a frosted glass, but still managed to give a good ipa flavour

Tap in a mug at Easy Tiger in Austin with commonshawn. Appearance is pretty gold with a minimal but forceful head. Aromas of citrus and hops abound giving the impression this is going to be a credible IPA. Taste is standard IPA fare with plenty of hop presence. Very smooth and drinkable. Solid IPA that doesn?t disappoint. I had pretty high expectations and it checked all the boxes. Brewed in 60 min. Consumed in 10 min. Probably the sign of a good beer.

Espuma presente, aroma de lúpulo e leve azedo. Gosto lupulado forte com toque spicy e álcool excelentemente bem inserido. Vale a pena

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A nice IPA, better than Sierra Nevada I’d say. Seems smoother, like most DF beers do. Pretty well balanced.....very hoppy still, but not too bitter of an aftertaste. Once I tried the 90-minute, it’s hard to go back to the 60 minute unless you’re going by cost or if the 90 isn’t available. Maybe not worth the price to buy all the time, but a very good beer.

Good hoppy beer. Fresh. Smells and tastes hops and pines. Little fruity flavor. A good beer to have any time.
Going to my favs as session IPA.

Medium gold colour with a thick foamy white head that stays well. Aromas are earthy, fruity & citrusy, small notes of biscuit/grainy. Very nice on the palate-- well balanced.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
12oz bottle, poured into a shaker. There’s a nice, bright fresh citrus tangerine, as well as orange candy, with a light floral, grassy and/or pine note. There’s also light tropical and wood note late. The beer is a sparkling, oily, effervescent gold color with a white soft foam head with excellent retention and a good lace. The taste is a beautifully balanced medium bittersweet with a slightly more bitter finish. The beer is smooth with a soft, foamy carbonation and medium body. Flavors of pine, honey, and grapefruit are dominant up front with a woody finish that accentuates the pine flavor and adds a floral note that sticks in the aftertaste with a light grapefruit zest.
