0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 roomtempbeer (185) - Franklin, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 17, 2003Beer pours (in Chimay glass) an orange-golden, with off-white head. Aroma of hops, straw. Hops is an undesireable characteristic IMO. Hop tasting beer is best described as drinking concentrated, soapy water. Taste it again and think about what you're drinking (hope I don't spoil it for you hop-lovers...). This beer (beer?) is a drainpour. Hops-lovers enjoy. Hop-haters beware. Sampled at 73 degrees Fahrenheit.

Appearance: very clear gold color, large white head, laces nicely Aroma: grain, grass, bread, faint smelling Taste: grass, pine, fruity, moderate bitterness, malty grain, a sweetness almost like sugar is hidden in there, Palate: high c02, has an almost frothy mouthfeel, bitter aftertaste Overall: this stuff is delicious, I wish it was available here, has a light mouthfeel with a very good flavor, one of the more pronounced fruit flavored ipa’s I’ve had ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

If this wasn't Dogfish I probably would think much less of this. Not too impressed I don't like the malt like aftertaste. I was hoping for more hops!

Heavy floral smell with citrus, strong aroma. Golden-bronze in color with a medium bodied head. Overall decent taste. A decent well brewed IPA.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 ronaldtheriot (786) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - MAY 25, 2013
Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA has a thick, creamy, slightly off-white head, and a clear, fairly bubbly, golden appearance, with substantial lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, sugary medium-roasted barley malt, with a faint presence of hop oil. Taste is of those things, plus the beer has a strong, yet not harsh, hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium and soft, and Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA finishes dry, refreshing, and easy drinking. Overall, I prefer a harsher hop attack, but this beer is still most excellent. RJT

Great hoppy beer. One of my favorite IPAs out there. I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes IPAs.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 GuillaumeCL (312) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 22, 2013
Pours clear orange with an average amount of white head, and some visible carbonation, and lots of lacing. Smell is lots of citrus, a bit of fruit, some tree. Palate is on the lighter side of medium bodied with some really aggressive carbonation. Taste is slightly sweet then gets a big bitter hit before getting far less bitter and even slightly sweet hit in the aftertaste. Very nice IPA.
4.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20 Filipbeer (31) - - MAY 20, 2013
Great american IPA. Brought in Manhattan. Grea and complex aroma: hoppy (citric, grassy) and some yeasty and roasty notes. Good biterness and a bit acid. Medium-Light body. Fantástic beer.

My favorite 6'er on a regular basis. Tastes smooth but you get the hops nicely as well.

Citrus hoppy aroma, not as sweet in the flavor. Ok hop flavor and enjoyable body. One of the original ipas I heard of when getting into craft beer, but have had many I enjoy more than this.

This is a good drinkable ipa. It was actually the beer that turned me on to beer and kicked off a fairly debacular summer. Hiding a six pack outside near the bar you’re drinking at is a pretty good idea, cause they’re light and poundable, and also very delicious. I do feel that they have had a recipe change for the worse in the past 4 years, seeming to have become much maltier, although my palate might have changed more than the beer. Drink it and be happy to have it, A crowd pleaser for sure
