COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Johnny Cask has entered the building! We’ve retrofitted a 15 barrel tank to perfectly produce a very special cask conditioned ale (so, we have a little time to play around during winters at the Delaware coast). This beer, known as Dogfish Head 75 Minute IPA is a blend of 60 and 90 Minute IPAs with a special whole leaf cascade dry-hopping session. Post-hopping the beer gest transferred into firkins and dosed with fresh yeast and maple syrup from the ole family homestead (actually the first batch will be re-fermented with maple syrup from the farm up the road from ours since ours won’t be ready until late March.

Only the ratings for bottles and single-cask pours of this should be rated. The 50/50 blends of 60 and 90 where they come from different taps are not rateable, and do not belong here.

25.4 oz bottle from Uptown Market in Beaverton, OR. Initial nose was strangely of household dust. Mouthfeel is crisp and slightly astringent. Taste is sweet, with a hint of fruity tartness, likely from the yeast. Slightly bitter finish. No trace of maple syrup.

750 ml purchase at the Craft Beer Cellar in Waterbury (VT) on August 19, 2014. Honey creme, medium head. Nice hoppy arome with a kiss of maple, notes of tangerine. Hoppy maple taste, some light fruitiness, sweet bitterness. This one makes all other maple beer look crappy!

Yowzers great beer! Poured with a huge fluffy off-white long-lasting head, plenty of lace and a clear honey amber color. Aroma is fresh hops and malt. Flavor is excellent well-balanced, slight sweetness, just right carbonic tang, & hop bitterness and malt flavors all blend together perfectly. Perfect body. Drink The hell out of this beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Citrus hops, grapefruits, maple syrup and caramel malts. Heavy body, a little thick but fairly easy to drink. Worth checking out if you get the chance!

7/22/14. Bottle from the brewery. Pours cloudy medium orange with a big sticky head. Nose is mild citrus hops with malt and sugar notes. As advertised, it sits right between the taste of the 60 and 90. Not too hop-heavy or boozy with the maple syrup giving it some interesting medium dark notes. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750mL bottle, bottled on 5/13/14. Poured cloudy medium orange with some nice white lacing. The aroma picked up sweet caramel and maple syrup topped by mostly citrus hops.. really nice, but the hops seemed muted. The flavor found sweet caramel and maple syrup again (more maple on the back end and through the finish), with spicy pine and citrus bitterness around.. almost oaky toward the back.. finished sweet, but with a nice peppery kick. Medium-bodied with fairly full carbonation.. not as hoppy as I hoped for, but it was mighty tasty.
