Johnny Cask has entered the building! Weve retrofitted a 15 barrel tank to perfectly produce a very special cask conditioned ale (so, we have a little time to play around during winters at the Delaware coast). This beer, known as Dogfish Head 75 Minute IPA is a blend of 60 and 90 Minute IPAs with a special whole leaf cascade dry-hopping session. Post-hopping the beer gest transferred into firkins and dosed with fresh yeast and maple syrup from the ole family homestead (actually the first batch will be re-fermented with maple syrup from the farm up the road from ours since ours wont be ready until late March.

Only the ratings for bottles and single-cask pours of this should be rated. The 50/50 blends of 60 and 90 where they come from different taps are not rateable, and do not belong here.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange yellow with big fluffy white head. Nose is nice citrus and pineapple. Taste a mix of citrus bitter and sweet. Great.

It pours a nice very foggy bright orange color with a long lasting chunky white thick head. The nose is full of orange tropical citrus aromas. The taste is very full right upfront of a nice carbonation with a flavor full of tropical citrus hops. About midway through the mouth feel it gets a bit piney which gives a nice balance. A tiny bit of caramel and thickness start to show almost at the end but yet keeps its refreshing texture. Really good actually. An almost rye spiced type feel towards the end of the sip. And surprising I noticed this after its purchase it was about 4 months after its bottling date.

Bottle from Half Time web order. Pours clear golden with a huge creamy white head.Aroma of orangey hops, moderate sweet marmelade, strong and inviting aroma. Thick smooth mouthfeel. Sweet & thick marmelade taste, subdued but noticeable piney hops, creamy and nice to drink, me like.

Pours a hazy orange with gorgeous head and lacing. Floral, sweet, goodness!! This is a complex beer like most of DFH! ----Hophaze out

Bottle. Very delishious. While between the 60 and 90 min, Id still rate both above the 75, but its still an outstanding beer

About a six month old bottle purchased to enjoy in my hotel room. Syrupy sweetness light flower ness and herbs. Mouth finishes dry. Actually pretty decent with the age, wonder if it would be as good fresh.

Pours from a bottle a cloudy dark amber with a pillowy off-white head. Not sure what Im missing here. Aroma is floral hops, maybe Cascade? Flavor is a nuanced, but underwhelming sweet hop blend. Finishes fine.

Pours with a solid inch of white froth floating atop opaque orangish gold. Head dissipates relatively quickly. Resinous citrus nose that is somewhat overwhelmed by an inherent sweetness. Tastes include peaches and sweet maltiness. Subtle complexity as hops creep up throughout, but are not as prevalent as one might imagine. Very crisp and drinkable with nice warm finish.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks DSG. Pours orange to yellow hazy with a beige head, aroma of honey, grain, strawberry, apricot, flavor is bitter with fruits, acidity, medium bodied.
