3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2012 1st Bottle:White head with orange/amber color. Citrus/sweet nose. Bitter, but light palate. I can understand the mix of 60 and 90 minutes in this beer. Sweet but not sure Im getting maple syrup.
2nd: Actually turned out better, finally getting the maple syrup. Smoother than first time I tried it. 1st bottle was stored in fridge, 2nd was cellared and served after hour and half in fridge. Might have made a difference here. Nice beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750ml bottle, thanks Tomas. Pours a orange, hazy, golden color with white head. Aroma was minimal citrus/pine. Taste was a little faded as the malt took over and the sweetness from the maple syrup, I guess, came into play. Probably not the freshest bottle but it tasted like a DFH ipa. Not bad but not something I’d seek out and not something I’d order if there was any other IPA or something interesting on tap.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml bottle: Pours a clear bright golden with an airy froth of white head. Has a fresh piny hop nose with some light citrus and pale malty sweetness. Starts with good fullness and lightly toasted crystal malty sweetness with a healthy dose of hop resin and bitter balance before a drier crisp bittersweet finish. Dangerously drinkable, but wish it were available in 6 packs.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a huge off-white head that slowly dissipates with good lacing. Aroma is spruce, pine, caramel, toffee, citrus. Flavor is about the same plus strong herbal notes, lightly rye spicy, lightly sweet, lightly bitter body with bitterness growing into the finish. Medium body. Good not great. I guess I am not a DFH IPA guy.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Poured from large bomber. Aroma is sweet and slightly malty. a heady white foam tops this beautiful beer. Taste is splendid, smooth, complex, and finishes with a sweet hop blend. Really a special treat having this beer. Drove 45 minutes over the state line for this one. Well worth it. Cheers

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours translucent orange with a thick, creamy head. Beautiful. Not a powerful smell; citrus and hops a bit. Taste: citrus and hops, some sweetness. As a Vermonter, I’m a bit disappointed in the "maple syrup" flavor they claim. I get hints of it, but not as much as I’d hoped for. It’s very much a milder version of the 90 minute. A bit of sweetness, some yeast, some salt. Touch of wood. As it warms, there’s a bit of spiciness to it...cinnamon and others. More yeast comes out. A bit sticky on the finish, with citrusy hops.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a 750ml bottle, the label is great. The aroma is caramel malts, citrus, slight pine. The flavors are citrus, grassy, earthy, caramel. Some signs of oxidation, but not enough to really hurt this beer. This is a tasty beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared at the November 2012 Santa Cruz tasting. Vanilla malt with astringent hops and a piney character throughout. Very much like the 90 minute.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
hops on the nose and taste. A bit of oak and carmel. I didnt taste the maple syrup that they claim is burried in there. But it does have an underlying sweetness. To me it tastes like a blend of every other dogfish IPA - 60,90, burton and squall.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a hazy apricot into the glass, with a huge 4-finger creamy eggshell head that leaves thick ring lacing. The nose is of pine, dank basement and light sourdough. Citrus, biscuit flour, pine hops and grapefruit, complete with zest and peel, combine very nicely on the tongue. The finish is of light, dry peppering pine needles. Highly drinkable, the body is medium with a semi-active palate. This feels zesty yet complex. A very nice concept here.
