COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Johnny Cask has entered the building! We’ve retrofitted a 15 barrel tank to perfectly produce a very special cask conditioned ale (so, we have a little time to play around during winters at the Delaware coast). This beer, known as Dogfish Head 75 Minute IPA is a blend of 60 and 90 Minute IPAs with a special whole leaf cascade dry-hopping session. Post-hopping the beer gest transferred into firkins and dosed with fresh yeast and maple syrup from the ole family homestead (actually the first batch will be re-fermented with maple syrup from the farm up the road from ours since ours won’t be ready until late March.

Only the ratings for bottles and single-cask pours of this should be rated. The 50/50 blends of 60 and 90 where they come from different taps are not rateable, and do not belong here.

Bottle. This might be my favorite of the Dogfish "minute" IPA’s. The label pretty much says it all. Not too big, not too small. Citrus hop scent, perfume, sweet caramel. Foamy white head over a very carbonated, bubbly bronze pour. Medium body, tiny fizz feel, slightly syrupy finish. Citrus hop flavor, sweet sugary note on the finish kind of like an orange slice candy. Excellent.

Bottle. Hazy orange with white head. Smells citrusy, bread, yeasty. Tastes smooth, nice citrus, pine, a bit sweet, really balanced. Pretty carbonated. Silky. Very good.

Mild grassy hop aroma, the maple is not noticeable. It pours a clear light amber with an over the top white head. Interesting flavor, with leafy hop notes, and a lingering bitter finish. Light on the palate, with a touch of slickness. Not a bad beer, although I don’t think it will be a go to beer for me.

Bomber, pours hazy honey w/ towering sudsy head, fresh resiny hop and fruity ester aroma, clean malt sweetness with resiny hop and that classic Ringwood character thoughout, finishes nicely dry and sharp, solid

At the Alehouse in Falls Church. Golden with little head. Not much aroma. Taste is a nice mix of floral and citrusy hops. Dry with a nice carb. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml bottle in a tulip. Pours copper with a fluffy, off-white head. Aroma of citrusy and piney hops, a good amount of caramel malts, and maple syrup. Flavor the same, with some spiciness and lots of syrup. Average texture. A really good beer.

Bomber from Tiffany’s , Kalamazoo MI. Thick hazy tan gold pour. A few inches of very dense white head on top. Scent is subtle pineapple and pine hops. Light or medium body with medium carbonation. Hop- forward taste but in a huge blend of hop flavors. Coppery taste (I mean that to be positive), also pine hop flavor. Don’t really sense the impact of maple syrup. Finish is shockingly clean and sweet, lavender and honey taste is left with a hint of dryness but very little bitter. I like 90 minute more.

Pours a hazy light orange with a HUGE three to four finger fluffy white head. Aroma is of sweet oranges, pine, bisquity malts, honey, lemon. Taste is pine, grapefruit at the back, some sweet malts, honey?, resin, fresh, citrus. Nice hoppy but still somewhat balanced, a very nice IPA!

Citrusy floral hop aromas. Leafy green hops and citrus flavors. Lingers on the palate. Overall a very very good IPA.

Bottle from Alex kindly shared with me and Simon ! Cloudy amber beer with good head. Nose is powerful on aromatic hops. Aroma is a bit less interesting than the nose, medium sweet to low, resinous, light, bitter, almond, grass, agrume, good but less impressive than 90 one.
