750ml bottle in a tulip. Pours copper with a fluffy, off-white head. Aroma of citrusy and piney hops, a good amount of caramel malts, and maple syrup. Flavor the same, with some spiciness and lots of syrup. Average texture. A really good beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from Tiffany’s , Kalamazoo MI. Thick hazy tan gold pour. A few inches of very dense white head on top. Scent is subtle pineapple and pine hops. Light or medium body with medium carbonation. Hop- forward taste but in a huge blend of hop flavors. Coppery taste (I mean that to be positive), also pine hop flavor. Don’t really sense the impact of maple syrup. Finish is shockingly clean and sweet, lavender and honey taste is left with a hint of dryness but very little bitter. I like 90 minute more.

Pours a hazy light orange with a HUGE three to four finger fluffy white head. Aroma is of sweet oranges, pine, bisquity malts, honey, lemon. Taste is pine, grapefruit at the back, some sweet malts, honey?, resin, fresh, citrus. Nice hoppy but still somewhat balanced, a very nice IPA!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Alex kindly shared with me and Simon ! Cloudy amber beer with good head. Nose is powerful on aromatic hops. Aroma is a bit less interesting than the nose, medium sweet to low, resinous, light, bitter, almond, grass, agrume, good but less impressive than 90 one.

Cloudy amber color, beautiful creamy head. Fresh hoppy fruity aroma. Dry mouthfeel, below expectations; good delicate malt flavor, good fruity hopping. Strong dry final.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: APR 6, 2013 Cask at Blind Tiger. Hazy yellow beer with good soapy head for a cask. Aroma is ripe citrus juice, light pine. Taste adds a wet horse blanket and vaguely meaty flavor before a quite strong bitterness kicks in. Feel is cool and texture is dusty. Really good though not refined cask ipa.
Bottle from Breukelen Bier Merchants. The head is really creamy and fully lasting, like it doesn’t go away and leaves thick. The aroma is similar to the cask with a bit more of a soapy note. The flavor is more juicy sweet though less bitter. I don’t get any obvious maple. The texture is softer and fresh. It’s a comforting reassuring IPA. Bravo.

Bottle purchased at The Greeks in Narberth. Just arrived that day so it must be fresh! New typey DFH 750ml bottle. Pours with a tooooooooonnnnnnnn of frothy white head. An explosion if you will. For sure this is bottle conditioned. Very mild floral aroma. Darkish golden and hazy profile. Lots of thick lacing. Mouthfeel is just too carbonated even after sitting out for a long time. Taste is quite good. Earthy, doughy taste. Plenty of grass, lemon, mild pine sap, vanilla and wood (cedar). Damn good beer. Really tasted like a cask conditioned IPA. It was $13 a bottle so I'm not sure I'd buy it again any time soon, but I did really like it. Let it sit out uncapped a while, the flavor gets better.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2012 Pours hazy golden with a massive exploding head. Aroma of citrus lemon hops. Smells so fresh. All the pine hops you expect up front, with an interesting sweet finish that keeps the bitter from hitting the back of your throat. Less citrus flavor than I would expect from te nose, but the maple keeps a smooth, faintly sweet pine hop taste. Good stuff. Prefer this to the 90. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Gold color. Slighty hazy. Woody aroma with some hop notes. Medium heavy body and relatively high carbonation. Clean finish. Lingering hop bitterness.
