3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured a bright golden with a huge off white head that doesnít seem to quit. Great lacing and smells of light pine, resin, and heavy maple syrup. Taste is sweet and hoppy, ends with a light bitter finish. The maple syrup is very apparent in the smell and aftertaste. I think this beer would be better without it, but is still a good IPA.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Pours orange with a large white, dense head. Smells woody with hints of maple syrup sweetness and some bitter hops. Taste is bitter, woody, tannic, and has some maple sweetness. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and mild mouth-carbonation, Dogfish Head 75 Minute IPA finishes with some mild sweetness.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from a 750 ml bottle into a brandy snifter. Poured a copper color with a huge white head of foam. Nice head retention too. It took about ten minutes to pour two glasses of this. The head is about as dense as a marshmallow. Aroma is sweet like syrup. I donít mean to say it tastes like maple syrup, but it has similar characteristics to the syrup. I can truthfully say I donít think this beer would need the maple syrup and it probably detracts from the beer itself. Bitterness is almost completely covered by the maple syrup. Overall this beer is a nice, interesting, and challenging beverage, but I feel like Dogfish kind of shot themselves in the foot with their creativity.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Shared a bottle with Bill. Hazy and a nice frothy head. Grapefruit, citrus nose. Flavors are hoppy and bitter, the maple tones down the bitterness to help balance the taste. Nice clean finish. Nothing extraordinary, and difficult to aquire here.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy golden orange with a ridiculous white head. Really nice aroma of honey, citrus, and some grass. Taste is grapefruit, pine, honey, and some bread. Nice bitterness. Smooth on the palate.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Drank as part of the "continuously-hopped challenge" (drinking 60, 75, 90, 120 minute DFH ipas).
A touch darker than the 60, but still mostly golden with a slight amber hue. Pour gingerly, ours gave us a head for days. The aroma has a slight sweetness (maybe the maple syrup barrel), but much more roasted malt smell that works well with the hops. The maple syrup aging definitely distinguishes from the 60 minute. Overall though, not a huge difference. More roasted, sweeter flavor. Similar mouthfeel.
Interesting IPA. The maple syrup gives it a twist, and I like how DFH is playing around with their standards. Plus Johnny Cask is great!

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
750ml bottle - $7.99 at Total Wine & More in Atlanta, Georgia.
Appearance: Pour gently. No, gentler than that. Iím telling you, you need to--great, thatís just great -- hazed, burnished gold body with a tall, long-lasting head stand of off-white foam.
Smell: Slices and slivers off fresh mango, pineapple, grapefruit, and sweet oranges atop sensibly-toasted biscuits marked by notes of resins, grasses, florals, and a little bit of maple.
Taste: Sweet touches of caramel and even maple paired with toasted bread, toasted biscuits. Itís a brief malty meet-and-greet, you know, a few handshakes, hellos, then, itís off to the tropical, vibrantly fruity hops cut with some floral, resinous tones. Slight grassiness. Medium-plus bitterness. Slight hint of the alcohol. Small revival of the initial sweetness before the fruity, bittersweet finish thatís just nice and sudsy from the carbonation.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Very slight viscous oiliness to the mouthfeel. Medium-plus carbonation.
Overall: I rather enjoyed myself. Delightful array of hop flavors smoothed with that little hint of maple and the vigorous carbonation is very effective at keeping things moving along nicely.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tallahassee, FL - Liquor Loft - 750 ml capped bottle. Pours a cloudy dark orange with an omni-thick white puffy head. Aroma has some sweet light spruce notes, brief floral accents. Flavor is full-bodied, smooth and delicious with tangy citrus grapefruit notes, some cake mix sweetness, some mellow apricot notes, some maple syrup maltiness permeates in the back end to balance it out. Nice thick mouthfeel. This one is done right.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750ml bottle from Liquor Loft. Have had the unofficial tap mix before, but first time Iíve tried the proper one. Gold pour with a huge frothy off-white head and lots of stick. Pine hops and caramel malts in the aroma. Tastes are citrus, caramel, honey, resin, pine, orange peel, and wood. Good - hard to place without a 60 or 90 right next to it - but on itís own is a big tasty ipa.
