Bottle via trade through the broker. Thick white head, copper color, the hint of honey is not too strong.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled on dld eve. Hazy golden with a white head. Maple in the nose with floral hops and sweet malt. Maple is noted but hops are in the forefront here. They sre floral and nice but not huge. Not really that big but pretty good.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Nose is floral hops and light malt sweetness. Perfectly clear, bright gold with great head retention. Amazingly balanced for a blend of these two beers. None of the harshness of either. Mellowed, possibly from the extended aging? Medium bitterness with dominant floral and fruity hop notes. Almost gives a cask impression even in the bottle. Full bodied but soft on the palate.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle thanks to Mike. Pours a clear copper color with a large, way too large head. A sweet rich fruity nose, some dust. A smooth, very sweet flavor, light candy and syrup, lemons and oranges, zesty at times. Very mellow. Very nice, smooth and tasty. Enjoyable and very flavorful.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear bubbly yellow-orange with shockingly large white head. Aroma piney and citrus hops. Medium bodied, somewhat creamy feel almost like a sparkling wine, fair amount of carbonation and no alcohol. Flavor strongly hoppy mostly of the piney and floral type, very small amount of malt and a tad of yeast. Not detecting the maple syrup. Very drinkable. A good solid IPA. Really memorable? Not so sure.

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle poured, deep hazy orange thick head, nose is hop forward with hints of vanilla, immediate bombardment of piney hops with a smooth finish where the syrup really shines through, soft on the palate and coats the mouth richly, a very smooth beer and its parents should be proud to blended into such a beautiful child

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: NOV 4, 2012 This will be my last "minute" IPA I’ve tried from DFH. Very thick head, thick orange-amber color. Aroma of pine, some maple syrup and citrus-grapefruit. Taste was a little more maple-y and pine. Overall pretty good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750 ml bottle that poured a dark orange colro, with a thick white head that took for ever to die down. Aromas of pine, grapefruit, and a touch of maple syrup. Flavor is the same, mostly pne and sugary maple syrup. Not an overly bitter aftertaste.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
My #300! Mild hop aroma for this warm bronze blend. A subtle indication of what’s to come... 75 minute enhances the best parts of 60 and 90. Sweet fruity hoppy punch has a nice kick but proves somewhat sessionable. The maple syrup was a brilliant play here and really takes this beer to the next level. Nice bitter finish offsets the sweetness. Lives up to it reputation.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750 mL poured into a sampling glass. Very dark yellow color with slight tinted white head. Head maintained all through drinking. Aroma is pine forest with grapefruit and some malt or maple sugar behind it. Taste is a pleasant light bitter that finishes with some malt sweetness and more pine aftertaste. Texture of this beer is pretty slick with the light bubble from bottle conditioning.
