3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a bright, slightly hazy golden with a big, frothy white head. The aroma is big on grapefruit and pineapple, along with peach apricot, and a good amount of pine. Very tasty when drinking. Much of what is found in the aroma, I find in the taste. The pine comes out more, and while still plenty of citrus is in here, it is very well balanced with all of the impressions. I get the pineapple standing out just a bit above the rest. Bitter, with a pine, grapefruit, and pineapple aftertaste. It isnít extremely hoppy, and lacks that bitter hoppy kick. Medium in body and sticky, while smooth, in texture. I enjoyed this. Its very tasty balanced well in all elements, without being to extreme in any aspect. I could drink this all night.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a light amber color with a medium white head. Aroma is maple-like malts, light earthy hops, and light citrus. Taste is much the same - not quite an Amber, not really an IPA, kind of like a hopped up Traditional Ale or something.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2013 750 ml bottle poured into glass from Total Wine in Cary, N.C. Amber hue, hazy clarity with frothy fully lasting white head. Good lacing. Heavy citrus (grapefruit) hop on the nose. Heavy bitter citrus hop up front with a moderate bitter alcohol finish. Watery on the palate with soft carbonation.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
From the bottle: Itís slightly hazy, burnt orange with a couple inches of light tan, orange hued foam, gradually settling with some soapy lace. Nice aromas of maple and pine with some oak. Big and bold, bitter and acidic twang riding atop sweetness that brings caramel, orange, apricot, maple, and a woody bite to round out the finish. Overall I think itís a very delicious, nearing double, IPA, each element holding itís own without too much aggression. Maple compliments the caramel backbone very well, and oak aging plays well with the hoppy elements. Medium to full bodied and it holds up with with warming. Lush carbonation. This bottleís about 4 1/2 months old so I would have like to taste it fresher, but itís very good at present.

750 to glass. Aroma of light hops and some sweetness that I assume is the maple syrup. Taste is a mild, lightly hopped IPA with a hit of crisp sweetness and maple at the end. Good carbonation. Ok beer, not my favorite.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
75cl bottle (bottles on 7/15/13) - pours cloudy amber/orange with plenty of offwhite head. Nose is wet citrus and pine with honey? Sip adds lemon/orange. Fairly sweet for the style. Very easy to drink and almost light. More of a spring/summer brew in my book.

Pours cloudy with a long lingering white foam. Immediate soft citrus hoppy taste that doesn't stay long. Continues with a very mild finish. An excellent medium IPA

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
From the 750 ml. bottle. The color of the pour is typical of the style with its bronze-amber-orange look but there is a tremendous long lasting cream colored head. A slight fog. Subtle aroma that is not in my face including toasted biscuit malts, maple sweetness, and a grassy, floral hop scent. But the hops are highly downplayed on the nose considering what it is. Smooth body around medium. Good bitterness from the floral and grassy hops that match up well with the toasted biscuit. Maple is also picked up. Well integrated alcohol and bitterness lingers briefly at the end.
