Dogfish Head 90 Minute Imperial IPA

Pours hazy copper with a nice white head, smells of thick hops of grapefruit and citrus with more emphasis on pine. Tastes very hoppy with a floral/piney emphasis, and finishes extremely nice and bitter. Very thick mouthfeel. Overall a very good DIPA!

12fl oz bottle poured into a semi-clear plastic cup (I’m still at the hotel). Amber with a ton of creamy white head. Aroma is raisins and some other fruit, slight alcohol. Flavor is raisin, alcohol, strong hops bitterness. The flavor sort of sneaks up on you and grabs you and doesn’t want to let go. Finish is bitter and long and leaves you with some warming alcohol. This is an intense beer. This is my first American IPA. I didn’t care for any of the British examples I’ve had. I think I prefer the American hops. This brew really grabs you by the balls. More than just a beverage, it is an experience to be had. Good stuff.

Pours golden, white head. Aroma is light hoppy, but it is masked with some "wet dog".... Very strange. Flavour is hoppy, flower and some cirtus. Also some sweet caramel and honey. This is not what I have expected from this beer. I must taste it again.

Pours a deep amber. Smells like pine sap and malt. For 9% it hides it pretty well. Potent but smooth. Fruity notes but I cant place them. Great IPA!!!

Best beer I’ve ever tasted. Lots-o-hops, great white head, fruit flavors abound, and a kick like a mule. You feel the buzz after just one bottle. THe best part is the finish, which is bitter and lasts forever.....

Ruby colored brew. Intense hoppy aroma. Hoppy, rich, full flavor. Fruity, very well balanced IPA. Very nice.
