Tasting Notes: Brandied fruitcake, raisiney, citrusy.
Food Pairing recommendations: Pork chops, beef, grilled fish, frites, focaccia, split pea soup, Stilton cheese & escargot.

On tap. Golden to amber in color with. Great aroma of citrusy hops and some malts. Very crisp . Pleasant hops flavored well balanced by sweetness of malt. Complex, well balanced, perfect beer.

Poured amber from the bottle with a small head. Strong hoppy aroma. Sweet citrus taste, with moderate, but not extreme, bitterness.

12 oz bottle served in a clear pint glass. I am not an IPA fan, but this was an excellent beer. The nose is hops and citrus. The taste was similar, but the hops were toned down a bit from the 60 minute IPA to make this beer pretty enjoyable.

Good head and carbonation in a clear copper coloured IPA.Aroma citrus and dark fruits like prune plum,alcohol note of cognac liccorice malty nose strong.Flavour caramel maltiness citric bitter raisin plum brandy taste or cognac,the 9% alcohol is perfect strong tastes yet a lovely mellow IPA.Sweetness on the palat good finish alround good flavour stays with you.

This is one of my go to beers. When I go to the local beer and wine store to find a satisfying brew and I see this glorious four pack illuminated in front of me I know all is well. It is a hop explosion but it has a lot more going on, the after taste is a tad sweet; it is a good counter taste for the bitterness from the hops. It is a solid beer at a decent price point and the fact that it comes in a four pack is good news for craft brew junkies who are breaking the bank exploring what is out there.

Can’t add much that hasn’t been said. Amazing hop experience in a bottle! Would benefit from just a slight bit more malt and perhaps some spicyness. Phenomenal anyway!
