osb33 (16), Milwaukee, USA May 19, 2009 A very nice color and pour. The head is short lasting but the taste is what makes this IPA. Excellent overall. Expensive, but worth it. drseusszb200 (182), Florida, USA May 19, 2009 pours amber with a head that fades quickly. smells hoppy and citrusy. tastes is huge hop start and a slight malt finish. bierslaaf (33), Cape Town, South Africa May 18, 2009 Burnt amber clear pour from a bottle. Balanced malt and floral hoppy aroma. Small off white head low carbonation and good lacing. Full on the palate with citrus & floral taste. Long balanced finish. Great! Jsawyer (282), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA May 18, 2009 Bottle. Half inch of white foamy head atop a hazy amber body. Aroma is sweet caramel, grapefruit, crisp citrus, slightly vanilla, and fruity sweet alcoholic finish. Flavor was sweet caramel, tauntingly chocolate, slightly toffee, and slightly bitter coffee, wonderfully fresh grapefruit and pine acidity. I found this to actually not be that bitter since the malt was so strongly counterbalanced. All the same wonderful beer. MereLikesBeer (153), Royal Oak, Michigan, USA May 17, 2009 This is quite a tasty beverage. It poured a medium orange amber color with a light caramel head. There wasn’t really too much of a distinct aroma to me, more of a general IPA smell, pretty hoppy - not the citrus that I am accustomed to however. It has a great mouthfeel, almost what I would equate to drinking a glass of milk. It tasted quite good, but with no outstanding flavors. Overall a pretty good beer. Bukowski9 (89), Piqua, Ohio, USA May 17, 2009 Sample @ Bock&Rock.Aroma was all hops.Copper color with a good white head.Very bitter flavor dominated by the hops the citrus flavor does come through nicely though with the slightest sweet hints.Good beer, very good. astrivian (16), Colorado, USA May 16, 2009 This is by far my favorite IPA. Nice flowery hops in the nose. Nice copper color. Woodsey character: this would be great sitting by a campfire.
